Sold For 10 Crore
The wedding hall was silent. Hundreds of guests stared at me, but I couldn't see their faces. My white dress felt like a prison. I didn't know the groom's name. My father only told me one thing this morning. "He paid 10 crore for you, Amelia. Don't shame us." Ten crore. That was my price. The doors opened. A tall man in a black suit walked in. Cold eyes. Cruel smile. Everyone whispered his name. "Alexander King." The billionaire. The devil of this city. He stopped in front of me. He didn't take my hand. He just looked at me like I was something he bought from a*****e. "You," he said, his voice like ice. "You're the daughter who was sold?" I couldn't speak. My throat was dry. He leaned closer. Only I could hear his next words. "Listen carefully, wife. This is a business deal. You will warm my bed when I want. You will bear my heir. And then, you will disappear from my life. Understood?" Tears filled my eyes, but I refused to let them fall. I was sold, but I wasn't broken. Not yet. I looked straight into his cruel eyes and said the first words to my husband. "Go to hell, Mr. King." The whole hall gasped. Alexander's eyes darkened. He grabbed my chin, hard. "You will regret saying that, little wife. Starting tonight."That night, I learned what hell felt like. Alexander King didn't touch me, but his words cut deeper than any knife. "You think you're special because your father sold you? I buy women like you every month for my clubs. The only difference is, I married you. On paper." I stood by the massive window of his penthouse, looking at the city lights. Forty floors up, and I still felt trapped. "Why me?" I whispered. "Why did you buy me?" He poured himself whiskey. Didn't offer me any. "Your father was desperate. His company was dying. I need an heir. My grandfather's will says I must marry and have a son in one year, or I lose everything." "So I'm just an incubator to you?" My voice shook with rage. He smiled. That cruel, cold smile. "Finally, you understand. You're not my wife, Amelia. You're a business investment. And investments should give returns." I wanted to slap him. I wanted to scream. But I remembered my mother's face before she died. "Be strong, my baby. Stronger than all of them." I turned to face him. "Fine. You want an heir? You'll get one. But after that, I walk away with half your fortune. Deal?" Alexander laughed. A real, surprised laugh. "You have fire. Good. My son should have a mother with spine, not a crying doll." He walked towards me, slowly. "But little wife, you don't make deals here. I do. And the deal is: you give me a son, and I let you live. No money. No freedom. Just life. That's more than you deserve." That was the moment I decided. I would give him a son. But I would also take everything from him. His company. His name. His cruel heart. This was war. And I, Amelia Jones, never lost a war.
