She marked me. It was invigorating. Right as she bit into my lower neck, I came so hard inside her. I couldn’t control myself. I knew she was my mate. I knew it the first night I came back to Fire Moon. I love her.
I told her that she should get back because I didn’t want her to catch anymore grief from Alpha Cross. If he caught her sneaking out, he would send her away again. As she was getting her clothes on, I looked at her. Oh my God. Her body had bruises and scrapes all over. I saw a bruise on her face by her cheek and more scratches. I felt terrible for hurting her. I shouldn’t have been that rough.
