RIVER’S POV
Before I walked into the conference room, I called my brother and told him about the incident. He was none too thrilled but I expected as much. He said he would be there tonight. I didn’t need his help but it was nice knowing he would be there in my corner. I’m sure the main reason he was coming was to make sure I didn’t get myself into any more trouble. The fight was going to be a cake walk. I wasn’t stressed in the slightest bit. Luke was no match for me.
I took a seat at the table with Jordan and Nick.
“What is your plan for this evening?” asked Jordan.
Looking at her now was easier. Since finding my mate I felt no attraction to Jordan anymore. Nick could rest easy knowing we were ‘just friends’ and nothing else.
