CHAPTER TWELVE A green pickup lumbered in front of the Toyota sedan, kicking up gravel dust that whirled outside the passenger window, reminding Ashley of miniature tornados. The single-wide lane that wound through Weaver’s Cove Campground flowed in only one direction. Looping in a circle, the exit hit the highway just a few yards from the entrance. Daniel wheeled the sedan into the parking lot of the recreation center, located in the middle of the loop.
