CHAPTER THIRTEEN Ashley peered through the one-way glass into the Laurel County Sheriff’s Department’s sole interrogation room. Clay Grimes slouched in a metal chair next to a dingy white table, unaware that her eyes were focused on him. He’d been booked and charged with assaulting Ashley at the campground. The charge was only a misdemeanor, but it was enough to hold him, at least for a short time. The sheriff seemed convinced that the d**g dealer was responsible for Sarah’s murder.
