"Are you kidding me?" I hissed.
I sneaked into the place where Lincon's at and damn Locason and Cesborn were guarding him. They didn't hire a bodyguard but they guarded him themselves.
"We thought you're on our side." Axel Cesborn said in a really pissed tone. He pointed his g*n on me. Not only Axel but Aiden, Cailey, Joel and Joan too.
"I need Lincon, where is he?" I asked completely not afraid that they would shoot me. I'm risking my life here.
"Do you think he's here?" Joan asked.
"He's here." I said and they let me walk through. I looked at them one by one and I don't know if they're being serious or it's a mind game.
"You hurted Marco." I heard one of them say something and I ignored it. I opened the door one by one and tried to check everything.
I opened the last door and my eyes widened.
"Looking for Lincon?" Marco smirked and I looked at him coldly. He stood up and walked towards me. I pointed my g*n to him.
"I'm quite disappointed with you, Cassandra." He said in a really serious tone.
"So what? I told you that I'll betray you someday."
"We need to be fast, Cassie. We don't have much time." Ray said through my earpiece.
"Just tell me where Lincon is and I'll leave you alone." I said to Marco and sighed.
"Patt threatened you again?" Marco asked as he smirked.
"Don't make me shoot you again."
"Shoot me" He gestured and I walked out from the room. I needed to find a secret room. I bet Lincon's here.
"He's in Canada." Marco suddenly said and I froze. No way! I don't have time to go to Canada? I'm running out of time now.
"Canada?" Ray asked and I sighed.
"So your goals is to trap me here?" I asked Marco and turned my head to him.
"Isn't it obvious? Do you think I'm dumb to let my guard down?" Right.. I was the one who's stupid.
"I gave you the chance to be on my side but you disappointed me Cassie. You broke my trust." He said with a hurt tone.
"Cassie, I found Patt's location. He's in Brazil along with your parents." Ray said through the earpiece. I looked around looking for a way out.
"I betrayed you and I will always betray you. I'm on Patt's sides no matter what. I was born to be his puppet so no matter how you try to take me to your side.. I will always be on Patt's sides." I said seriously, I loaded my g*n and pointed to him.
"Then jail welcomes you." Marco smirked. Suddenly a group of policemen bursted inside. I ran up to the 2nd floor and tried to find a way out.
"Find me a way out!" I said to Ray.
"Okay.. uhmmm second doors on your left, there's a window. Jumped there and I'll pick you up." He said and I bursted the second door on my left. I ran towards the window and got out. I ran up to the rooftop and damn the police were quite fast.
A helicopter came in time but someone shot me on the back. I winced in pain. A few men tried to grab me but I kicked them big time. I punched them and kicked them. I held the wound since it was bleeding so bad.
"Let's go Cassie!" Ray shouted and I held on to the ladder. They took off from that place, Ray pulled me in and he looked at the wound.
"Gosh Cassie."
"Just help me take out the bullet." I said and he took a medical box from the side. He took out a small pinset and pulled out the bullet. I screamed in pain because of it. Ray put the bandage on.
"What now?" Ray asked.
"I'm going to Brazil."
"I can't go with you."
"I know that's why I'm going there alone." I said as I leaned back to my seat.
"You can't be alone.. it's dangerous."
"I'm risking my life, I don't have any other choice." I sighed.
"Your backup."
"I don't want to get my hopes up because they might back away." I turned to Ray.
"Look Cassie.. It's damn dangerous. You need-"
"Shut it Ray.." I closed his mouth.
"I need you to take care of Carine if something happens. Go to my house and opened the 2nd drawer of my make-up table. There's some money and an address there."
"You i***t, you need to stay alive!" Ray hissed coldly.
"You'll never know." I smiled and he ran his hands through his hair frustrated.
"Take my team instead." He said and I nodded.
"Thanks Ray."
"You need to stay alive! You owe me 1 million dollar!" He warned and I chuckled.
"Of course.. I'll try."
"Stay alive and let's get married." He joked and I smacked his head.
"Keep on dreaming."
"What's with the talk with Hastington?"
"Nothing."
I took Ray's iPad and zoomed into Patt's location now. I sighed and it's quite far from the city. The place where Patt's now is more like a secret house in the middle of nowhere. I checked the CCTV around and he's there.
He's with my parents and a lot of guards. There's around 50 guards guarding him. How am I going to burst in and save my parents? I need to make a plan.
First, I need to kill all the guards
Two, I need to find a way to reach Patt without him being around my parents.
Three, I need to kill Patt
Gosh.. why is my life so hard?
