Sue was always curious about the Rules and Traditions of her Tribe.

The Tribe Horn wakes Sue up with a jerk, she rubs her eyes lets out a sigh and sits up on her bed, her Mother calls from the kitchen. " Sue! get up you need to get ready." She gets up takes her training Robe and heads for the Shower, to be late for training and lessons is not acceptable behaviour a future Tribe Leader. I am the last decendant of the Women Leaders of the Scarlett Tribe. Her Mother Danelle took over from her Mother at the age of 20 and she will take over in 4 weeks on her birthday. Each of the Leaders has always been female and has always been born when the Moon was at its highest. Sue looked at her Mother taking a bite out of an apple, in the Book of Scarlett she learnt in her sesions with the elders that the Goddess Aphordite blessed all the future Tribe Leaders with Beauty , and her Mother was the Essence of Beauty she was a strong warrior and firm yet caring and smart. Sue knows that as a future Tribe leader she will also be everthing her Mother is. But the Tribe Leaders were not born as gracefull as her Mother, according to teachings from the Elders Sue learnt that she would have to go through a Secret Ritual to become the Tribe Leader, as the Elders were all knowing you are not permitted to ask questions and be curious, you were just to accept the teaching and follow the Rules. Sue always accepted the Elders teachings but in the back of her curious mind she had hunderds mabey thousands of questions. Sue repeated to herself " Once you reach the end of the Ritual all your questions will have answers you will be imprinted with the ancient laws of our Tribe". The training ground is a 10 minute walk. Sue started the trail that she has been walking everyday since the age of two. She knows every tree every stone every root on the trail as this was one of the first training sessions to always know your surroundings, but today for the first time she noticed something. "Thats odd" as Sue moved closer to a tree she noticed that a part of the bark was missing, like it was mabey ripped off, and there was three long cuts, where the tree sap was oozing out. " Probally one of the tribe members needed the bark for something" and continued to the training grounds. " Sue!" Emily and Sahara came running with warm smiles. "Emily and Sahara was my best Friends", we grew up together they are 3 years older then me, and already went through the ritual they are twin Sisters and was always together but after the ritual they had their Ranks assigned to them. " "Why would the outcome of the ritual determine what Rank you are placed in the tribe, Ranking is determined by Hair and Eye Colour after the ritual as these change" - yet another question burning in Sue's mind. The Book of Scarlett mentiones that when you obtain Brown Hair and Hazel eyes your are by Blood bound to the Warrior Ranking which is brought down from generation to generation. And yes Emily and Sahara is great warriors. The girls are muddy and Dirty, even if you did not go through the accension ritual all the girls had to train on every rank so that when you accend you are not a total clueless dow eyed member in your Rank. " Sue are you going to the Elders for readings" Emily and Sahara asked whilst getting their training gear together. " Yes, but I need to go wash up first Elder Sky would have a fit if I entered the Temple like this" Sue giggled. Sue - POV " Its not that i dont like my life, I love it... Living in the most beautiful lush forest, not primitive at all we are modern thanks to the Witches - Ranked by their Red Hair and Redish eyes they have all their magic tricks from the Book of Ancients, we all actually have a good life we have more then we need and all the luxuries that come with it." Sue looked at herself in the mirror as she tied up her thick black hair she was born with and looked at her own dark brown eyes and wonders how she would look like after the Ritual." hair as white as snow and eyes the clearist lightest blue - The Tribe Leader Ranking" Elder Sky is waiting for her Students in the temple the doors is made of a heavy dark wood with gold trimmings and ancient inscriptions, inside the walls and floors is also of the same dark wood with the same gold trimmings and inscriptions its almost like the tree grew with the golden trimmings the temple has a wood and lemon grass smell which has a a refreshing stimilulation on the body and sences. Elder Sky mentions that today we would learn an ancient Legend about the Forgotten. She takes out a thick green book and starts the Lesson. "Over more then 500 years ago there where other Tribes, each Tribe consited of only one Gender Type. Each Tribe had their own Land. According to the Book , a war broke out between two Tribes. The opal Tribe which was of female gender and the Xelo Tribe which was of Male Gender. As the Story goes the Lead warrior's daugther was abducted by the Xelo Tribe. The Opal Tribe gathered all the other Female Tribes and raged a war agianst the Xelo's, the war continued for years until every single Tribe member was killed, but the Opal Tribe's witches had seen a vision of all the dead and advised the Tribe Leader called Azarah of the coming war and the devastating outcome. Azarah called in her most trusted warrior and the High witch. She informed them of the vision and ordered the Witch to create a hidden Village with abudance of supplies and luxury. Lyla the warrior was to take Azarah's Daugther to the village the witch i immediatley started on the spell and was also ordered to take all the Books from the Temple.. The witch was also ordered to place a cloacking spell on the village to keep her daugther safe. As the war raged Chaterina was safe in the hidden village and all the other tribes was destroyed. Sue was digesting the information and looked at Elder Sky, which just gave her a stern look when she saw the questions in Sue's Eyes. " Honestly why can I not just accept this teachings there are so many holes and so many questions that needs answers the teachings is always something I looked forward as there was so much forgotten history but everytime dissapointment rises as I never have a good understanding on what, why and who". Sue walks calmy out of the Temple but wished she could slam the door storm out and throw a proper toddler tantrum that wood make the roots of the trees tremble and get rid of her frustration. "Respect, Manners, Obedience" she mumbled to herself. As the future leader of the Tribe I was permitted to read the books but even then no answers to my questions just more stories with no real information. Chapter 2 The Temple was the only building in the village that had an ancient feel and look but was perfectly maintained. Everyone has gathered in the meadow behind the temple for the Feast of Rebirth, which was held two days before a new almost 20 year old would have to go through the accension ritual. It was always a very exciting time everyone celebrated, the whole village was full of joy and laugther. The wooden table seem to stretch for miles and miles. There were fruits, vegtables, meats, grains and desserts. There was no chairs we all sat on the soft green grass this was a suggestion made by the Elders to be closer to Mother Nature it created a strong bond through out the Tribe. -"its nice to be able to humble down and enjoy that what has been provided with Ranking and duties all forgotten at that moment" Sue thought by herself as she was eating a strawberry and playing with a daisy, everything had a hint of magic the witches decorated the meadow with constant colour changing daisies, they would shimmer from white into a navy blue - a real enchanted forest... a very grand affair. Ria was brought to the front dressed in a white silk dress with Red, Green,Brown and white ribbons attached to her sleeves Tribe colours , her hair was braided and decorated with Baby Breath blossoms. This was Ria's Rebirth feast and she was glowing she looked beautiful. Before the Feast ended Ria was taken away by the Elders. "Sue, dont look so concerend, the Elders is preparing her for the ritual she will not be seen until after the accension" Emily said tugging on Sue's braided hair. " I know Emily you told me so many times, Its- I was just thinking about my accension" "As far as I know your accension will differ slightly" Sahara said after drinking the last of her honeydew. Sue was busy preparing a Dragon Fruit smoothie for Breakfast when there was a knock on the door, she rinsed of her hands and opened the door. "good morning is your mother nearby" It was Fleur one of the scouts her Green hair was almost looked like a million thin glass tube as the sunshine fell on it her green eyes looked determined and focused. Good morning Fleur is something wrong?" Danelle asked " Is it possible that i can consult you for a minute" Danelle POV Its very unlikely for any movement to be recorded so close to the village it has only been a few months since the last Pairing. The cloacking spell could not be wearing off. " Fleur this is troublesome have your Scouts reported anything else" " We scouted all along the village borders , but found nothing out of place, Just the bark with the three long cuts, its to early for the Pairing why would they mark the walking trail so close to the village". Danelle knows this need to be kept quiet its not long before Sue has to accend and take over leadership. And the next pairong ritual is to be overlooked by the new tribe leader. "Fleur could you call for Carah and Kira immediatley". Danelle was standing agianst her table watching the door as Fleur left to call the others. Why would they be marking for pairing now. The next pairing should only be ... 9 months from now something is off. The door opens Fleur Carah and Kira enters the Room where Danelle is waiting. She explains to them what the Scouts have found, there was confusion on all of their faces. "Carah you are leader of the witches please get your coven to rise a border Spell and do not give any reason for questions to be asked. Kira brief your warriors to be on high alert, we are not to mention why there is a alert in the village and do not discuss this with anyone" The Rank leaders left the room. Could this be because of Sue's accension - impossible they would not know of her. Until she is ready to be paired. Chapter 3 Calem is standing on the Balcony of the pack house and overlooking the pack grounds green melting into snowy mountains. He is now the Alpha of the Silver Peak pack since his Father handed over the Title a week ago. Calem feels a vibration through his muscles and hears a growl from his wolf Enrick "something in the winds has changed" . "yes something has changed, we need to be ready" Calem replies to Enrick. Alpha Xavier is in his study going through the last of his assignments, he puts down his pen and lets his head tilt back into his chair. "Calem , my son what a suprise to see you here, thought you and Mark would be out training our new recruits." Mark is Calem's Beta and a very good friend. Calem has informed Mark to start the training he would be there shortly. As he sat down on the Leather couch he lies back and smiles" He looks at his father and thinks of all the memories he has of being the Alpha's son. His Father was a very good Alpha even with such a big responsibility he always made time for Calem. "Dad, have you felt the change in the winds even the sent it brings has changed in all my years we have not encounterd anything like this before". Xavier takes a gulp of his golden whisky and smiles he gets up and walks to one of the bookselves and takes out a very old book wrapped in a velvet cloth "hundreds of years ago the Xelo Tribe our ancestors had a very powerfull Mage who wrote about a Prohecy" Xavier carefully removes the red velvet cloth from the book and start reading. "Selene the Goddess of the moon will send ivory on the wind, ivory will fill the land and bring about the start of a new way. Ivory will bring a truth to the land and the curse wil be broken" . he closes the book and looks at Calem. " In all the years from generation to generation the Prohecy has been carried down, it could be the Prohecy or it could be our decision to place the mark for pairing. The Pairing is a gift given to us by the Goddess to ensure that our pack doesnt become extinct, it has never been attempted to mark before time, so yes we could have made a big mistake which might signal an act of war towards the Scarlett tribe. Have you selected the 12 that will partake in the pairing?". "Yes I have the strongest of the warriors has been informed". Calem gets up from the couch and walks towards the door. He links to his Beta "on my way". As Calem enters the training grounds he greets his wolf brothers with admiration and respect , it was not just for increasing power and fight skills but to keep their bond strong and with a strong bond you get a strong pack which in turns strengthens the Alpha.Because of the curse that was placed on the land all of the pack members got their wolf at the age of 10 which always caused it bit of a stir but we could never shift into our wolf, our wolf would never manifest although we all felt a longing for a mate we would never be able to find her, that was our curse our birth right taken from us, but our connection to each other was strong there was no such thing as lower ranked wolfs but every wolf had his place in the pack every single one important. The Moon Goddess selects our mate before we are born which creates an eternal bond,your wolf will become known at the age of 16 and the first shift at 18 then only a wolf can sence their mate. It seemed that to miss something you have never seen or felt as wishfull thinking yet we could feel a emptiness. After training a few pack members went out to hunt Calem and Mark decides to join. Even though we could not shift our wolf sences was impecable. Calem comes to a halt and looks at Mark " Someone had been here recently there is a very faint scent" None of them recognised the sent but decided to take the deer they found and return to their village as they only walked a few minutes into the tree line. "Seems that we are being watched from here" as Mark pointed to a big tree. "Scarlett scouts, we can defnitley be expecting some eyes on us for the bold move pulled by marking for Pairing mabey they are not aware of the full moon apearing before time so we can expect some serious movement , but we will not act to fast as they might report that we are preparing for war so let them watch" Calem mind linked his brothers. "Calem the pairing mark needs to be placed the full moon is upon us and the goddess has spoken" Calem notices the uneasiness in Enricks statement " The Pairing is not for another 9 months why the sudden change" Calem is waiting for Enricks reply but clearly he doesnt know as Enrick just turns in a circle and lies down. The order is sent out and the mark is placed agianst a tree, it would have been so much easier to go the the Scarlett tribe and verbally discuss the sudden change but after so many attempts of searching for the Scarlett Tribe village it has never been found , the scarlett's was never late when the Ritual was due, mabey they travel through portals as the Tribe has skilled witches Calem thought by himself lying in his bed. Chapter 4. Danelle is greeted by Elder Sky as she comes out of the house " Danelle it has been confirmed the pairing is to take place as scheduled by the Pack a vision has confirmed 12 is to be selected" Danelle feels uneasy but does not show emotion just before she can speak Elder Sky answers her question as if reading her mind "Sue is not to be included" Danelle is relieved she has not ever spoken to Sue about the pairing and this would defnitely start an argument as Sue is head strong and will not easily be forced in to pairing with a wolf for the sake of the Tribe she will only know this whilst in accension and then only understands why it's done. As the 12 Scarlett Tribe Members prepare for the ritual the witches is creating the elixers to be used a thick golden coloured liquid and dark blue liquid the elixers is filled in tiny glass bottels one blue and one gold a total of 48 tiny glass bottels is placed in a wooden box and taken to the temple for the Elders to bless. The Ritual ground is surrounded by Redwood trees which reach up into the sky almost touching the starts the leaves and branches has grown as if creating a tunnel up into the sky where the moon is watching down the forest floor is covered in pine needles, 24 torches is lighted and a table of stone in the middle. The witches are placing 24 tiny glass bottles on each side of the table the colours divided evenly as they are humming a incantation the 12 Wolfs breaks through the trees. The Alpha has to be present for the Ritual. " Alpha I was not aware you would be joining, our vision did not include the Alpha" Elder Sky said after seeing Calem. The wolfs could sence the 12 women from the tribe coming through the trees and standing on the other side of the table. "As we gather here tonight and ask the Godess to bless this brief union we bow down and ask for a fruitfull outcome". The signal is given for the golden liquid to be taken every member swallows the liquid. Calem moves back and leans against a tree, his father told him that after the golden liquid is taken it gets a bit crazy. And surley not long after the air becomes electric. Calem could not mind link to any of his brothers but there was no immediate threat that he could pick up on. The 12 women from the Scarlett Tribe where undressing themselves all in perfect unison after stripping down naked the approach the 12 wolfs , the 12 wolfs tears their clothes of also in perfect unision. All the woman are beautifull, Calem.notices that the eyes of 24has changed into a misty brown colour and the womens eyes aswell. " Approach" the instruction is given by Elder Sky. Calem's wolf sences kicks in, he can hear trobbing hearts pushing blood harder through each of the 24 body's veins, fast breathing he feels heat, extacy, skin rubbing agianst skin, wetness, pulsing muscle and then nothing. "Savage but nessecary" Enrick mumbles in his head. Just as fast as things escalated the order is given for the Blue liquid to be taken and within a few minutes the grounds is cleared as if nothing happend. Three days later one of the pack members hands a wooden box to Calem with 6 gold covered pebbels inside. "The pairing was a sucess we are to expect 6" mind linking the pack. "Why wasnt the Alpha included in the ritual as we need a boy that has Alpha blood runningin his veins, this has never happend before, did the Elder not elloborate and the reason for this unacceptable behaviour" Xavier is besides himself his face a read and he has sweat beads forming on his forehead. "I am sure with the next pairing ritual the New Tribe leader will be present Danelle , lets not aggrivate the current situation" Calem put his hand on his Father's shoulder and gives him a calming smile. Xavier takes a deep breath and settles down as he looks in to Calem's green eyes, Calem always had a calming affect on him and somethings it came just at the exact moment he needed it the most. As Xavier has reached the age of 60 his wolf has become silent although you never loose your wolf the curse ensured your wolf goes dormant and you would have outrageous anger outburts. Chapter 5 Sue POV Its a week before my birthday and my mother is being so extra, she is running arround checking in on all the Rebirth preparations making sure everything is perfect. This morning she was up early and brought a very elegant breakfast up to my room it was weird seeing her so nervous, "Iam just so excited, my little girl is soon to accend into a woman her mother smiled as she made herself comfortable on by bed watching while I struggle to shalllow the food. My stomach feels like it has overturned in my body my chest has cold pains I am so nervous. The idea of being the centre of attention with everybody looking and smiling at me makes me uncomfortable. I know I am the next Tribe Leader but it still makes me nervous. Even my eyebags is trying to hide my eyes. wouldnt it be amazing if i could postpone turning 20 for mabey another year at least I could try and prepare myself. I dont even feel ready to take on the role, do I even have leadershipp skills. "Sue honey, deep breaths in and out you are turning blue" Danelle teases as she walks out the door. My robe for the Rebirth is hanging in the window , its soft and light and more beautifull then anything I have ever seen before the wooven white silk is embedded with golden thread and creates a sparkle with any tipe of movement. there is a belt with the tribe colours and the sleeves is hanging on the ground with diamante on the on the ends. The hot water of the shower is running down my body the aroma oils the Elders have brought to bathe in has an amazing smell that fills the room and it has left my skin so soft and amazingly scented that I lost the pit in my stomach. After reluctantly getting out of the shower i follow the instruction given to me, rubbing the liquid in the orange glass bottle all over my body making my skin feel like it has a pleasant tingle to it, my thick black hair is to be tied up braided and then covered with the crown made out of Caranations and last the robe needs to be stepped into and then pulled up along my body. My mother and Elder Sky lighty dusts my skin with a glittery powder. As I was lead out of the house a path of yellow rose petals leads up to the Temple entrance. The Temple is infused with lavender and the scent calms my nerves as I breath in the fragrance.Everybody is staring at me with admiration and anticipation as I walk into the meadow, the witches has agian outdone themselves with the decorations, white lilys everywhere Crystal pendants hanging from the branches catching the sun made the most beautiful shapes and colours on my skin. It had a familiar feel to it but I could not place it. A silver goblet was placed in my left hand the liquid felt smooth as I drank it.It was surley a feast fit for a Queen. My Mother looked at me with so much love and pride as Elder sky took my hand and started leading me to the chamber of Rebirth inside the Temple. The next thing my I remeber is hundreds of Flashes and faces all bombarding me at once. "It has been to long since she has been in the waters it should have only been a day, why has she not awaken yet" Danelle asks with tears in her eyes I cannot loose her as she holds onto Elder Sky. "Danelle each accension is different her Soul will return when she is ready it is a serious shock for her body to die so that her Soul can cross the threshold and return with her birth right, we need to let nature run its course, if we awake her to soon she might be lost forever, we need to trust her, she is a strong girl" Just as Sky is preparing for her next class, she is knocked of balance when she has a vision of the rebirth waters stiring the shock is visible on her face as she gets up and runs to the Rebirth chambers. Almost chocking on her own breath she runs to call Danelle. "Something happend". As they rush into the chambers Danelle falls to her knees" what does this mean ? why has the waters changed to a neon blue? what is wrong with my child" she screamed. Elder Sky POV It has been almost two weeks since Sue was placed in the waters, I went through all the ancient books and couldnt find anything as to why se has not awaken yet all the Elders has been watching Sue very closely there was no signs of a body busy decompsing, her body is still alive- has her Soul lost her way. I even consulted the witches but they had no answers. Are we to accept that she might never return. Danelle has been here everyday trying to talk to Sue to come back even if it is the path that the Gods set out for Sue to never return and keep her pure soul our people will start to have doubts in the Gods. Why would they take her? I have never had a vision to do with the waters. I have no answers but Sue needs to be prepared. Normally after someonenhas been through the waters skin is dehydtaited and oils needs to be rubbed in. But As the pod cracked and the water is dripping out her body is in perfect condition just lightly stained fron the water. Myself and the other Elders wiped her body down and I have het skin has sturned into a light golden brown, her hair is snow white with streaks of golden blond, her eyelashes shiney black her lips as red as blood she is absolutley a sleeping beauty. "Everything is normal she is a healthy as can be she just seem to be sleeping with a journey that long i believe she is mentallu exhuasted" Sky says to Danelle while they are looking at her. All the members of the tribe is excited the news has been announced that Sue has come through her journey and is resting. Everyone has left gifts for Sue in fron of the temple. Another feast is being planned, the witches has started with the decorations food was being prepared it was a joyous atmosphere, celebrating the accension of a new Leader was a big event and everyone could include their ideas into planning. Chapter 6 None of the pack could understand what was happening all of their wolves were going crazy. "Enrick what is up with you, you have been acting strange the whole day "Calem asked concerned as he walkes from the pack house suddenly everyone started falling to the ground a pain that they have never expierenced a pain that was rippen through every bone and every muscle their blood was rushing through their veins causing them buldge underneath the skin. Calem and the other pack members was howling in pain. As Xavier runs out of the pack house to see what is happening he come to a sudden halt. "hallo old friend, it has been while, the time has come" Xavier falls down and starts crying "Christoph how Ive missed you i felt lost without you, how is this even possible?" Xavier is shocked he hasnt heard ir spokem to his wolf in a long time, not long after Xavier heard his wolf he feels such pain that he blacks out. Calem POV I have never in my life felt such pain as he start lifting his heavy body. As he starts recovering from the blurry vision and looks for the rest of the pack members, did I hit my head that, Iam hallucination now... What is happening?
