Chapter 15: Adele’s POV
The next morning was harder than the day before. I woke up to a silent empty dark room. My eyes felt stiff and my lips tasted salt, my hands and back hurt but my heart ached the most. I tried wiggling my way off the bed, once my feet touched the ground, I reached for my stick. I grabbed onto my stick for support before standing upright. I tapped on my stick as I navigated my way around my room. I found my way to the bathroom, I opened the door and safely walked in before locking the door behind. I took my time washing myself and once I was done I stepped out of the bathtub and draped a towel over myself, I located my stick again and found my way back to my room.
I couldn’t tell what color of gown I had picked out, I just randomly selected any and wore it over my
