Chapter Nine KARENA STARED UP at the moon for a moment, the light dappling the ground as it pierced the massive branches of the surrounding cypress trees. For the past two nights, she roamed the woods of Bull Creek with Russell and Antonio, searching for whoever might want to kill the shifters, as well as for rogue vampires. No one in her coven had heard of anyone moving into their territory, but that didn’t mean there wasn’t an outside vampire in the vicinity. Vampires were quick and great at hiding, after all.
