JOSH GLANCED AROUND, making sure the lights were on in the distance at least. He couldn’t stop the way his nerves rattled with him. Even his panther wanted to be somewhere else, pacing anxiously within as Winnie and Ezra set up the table for the séance. He still doubted this was a good idea, but once it was out, there was no way he would back out and look like a big chicken in front of the others. But after what he saw, a chicken pretty much summed up exactly what he felt like. He wanted to be home, cuddled up with Alanna in front of the television watching comedy reruns. However, she still had not made it home yet from where Eve and her had volunteered to help Noel and the others with the repairs at Everglades, so he had no other choice but to come out here alone.
