JOSH RUSHED OUT of the car just as a dark shadow blacked out some of the stars. Glancing up, he spotted Karena’s dragon swooping low over the trees, the tips scratching at her underbelly as she passed, some breaking off and raining down on them.
Another car pulled up behind them, and he watched as Adira and the others got out, racing to where they stood.
“Any sign of them?” Adira asked as she neared them, glancing around at the cabins.
“We just got here,” Dimitri said. “Did that spell show you which cabin by chance?”
She shook her head. “Just that they’re on this side of the street, probably one of these three cabins.”
