Chapter Twenty-Six
THE NEXT COUPLE of days had been a whirlwind of activity. Josh focused on finishing the setup for his Halloween party, relying on Nathan, Ash Merickle, Eve, and Arlin to help him out. He had had enough of real monsters and vampires lately, and just needed to lose himself in something frivolous. And what could be more frivolous than a Halloween party?
Julian sent Colton and Liam from Para-Force to retrieve Cody Tucker, and the boy’s father could only stand there and watch as they hauled him away. Colton couldn’t tell them what would happen with Cody, but he assured them, the man/monster wouldn’t hurt anyone else.
Josh still didn’t know how they saw Dale’s ghost while at the same time a part of the man resided inside of Cody’s monster. Dimitri simply shrugged, saying so
