“Commander Jackson has told us much about this amazing vessel and the changes to Earth over the last couple of centuries. He also said we’d be able to have a guided tour. I’d be very interested in seeing the rest of the ship.”
“Yes, of course.” Lila’s reciprocal smile was as frigid as an icy breeze. “But not now. For now, these gentlemen will escort you to Captain Inglis’s day cabin. I’ll organise some refreshments for you. A tour can be arranged later.” She gave a curt jerk of her head and one of the guards stood back while the other marched toward the door at the back of the bay.
“After you.” The other pointed at his companion’s back and Thoth sketched a bow.
