9 : We have met before

When I woke up and I opened my eyes open, I realized I was in my apartment because I saw both the ceiling of my room and the walls that had been decorated with various celebrity posters.

Did I had dreamed of wolves?

Gasping, I sat up and couldn't breathe for a second. It felt so real! Looking at my wall watch I saw it was 3PM afternoon, but when my brain understood the situation, I screamed.

"Oh no! I'm late for work!" When I jumped out of my bed, I was going to go to my closet to get some fresh clothes, but halfway there I realized I was already wearing clothes. Just like from my dream.

"Just don't fall into hysteria, Lilly... Maybe I'm still dreaming..." trying to comfort myself, I hurried out of the room and quickly into the kitchen to see the calendar and make sure what day it is.

It was Thursday. The day I had to be at work when I took a lunch break in a coffee shop... Or -

" No, no, no... It has to be a dream," trying to convince myself, I grasped my hair in my hands and closing my eyes, I started to chant to myself.

Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake the hell up, Lilly! I -

"It surely isn't a dream, I'm afraid," sudden male voice behind me has me jumping high in the air and I whip around to see a man sitting on my kitchen chair, with his black cloack, tapping his fingers on the table while casually resting in his seat.

My heart stops when I recognize him, like from the second time.

"What are you doing here!" I screech and start to back up so I can get a knife or something but I stop when he rises his head up and gives me a chilling stare with that perfect stone face.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you."

I gulp but confidently lift my chin up.

"What will you gonna do? Kill me? Because I saw you with those... Those..." I can't even spell the words out remembering what I saw. I can't even explain what I saw and why. Maybe I am just crazy, a sane person wouldn't see a human turn into a wolf, right?

His stare is unapologetic when he regards me with those beautiful eyes. Damn him!

"I guess I don't need to fill in the details about what you saw in the alley, you are smart enough to remember and know it well it's the reality," the man says.

I have the urge to find a knife and stab him but I know I can't do that, he is my savior.

"Please tell me why they were looking for me and tried to kill me, tell me everything and don't leave anything behind because the last time I checked , I'm involved in all of this mess. Its my life we are talking about! " I was pleading but I didn't care.

I was a nobody, why even someone wanted to kill me that bad to make a chaos in the Café?

" Still curious about everything, little mouse. All right, when I tell you this, you can't freak out or anything, they still can be outside and looking for you so I secured your place from any outcomers. Covered your windows, locked doors and s**t, no thanks needed but regardless to say, you are in danger and we need a plan B, " explaining the situation, my eyes wide, I pull out a long breath.

" No s**t, Sherlock. I know my life is in danger but what is the reason? I'm a nobody, then why me? " Feeling exhausted, I dropped to the ground and leaned my head against the counter closing my eyes for a second.

"You really want to know why?" I hear him standing up and my gaze snaps to his when I see him walking towards me.

He is even bigger than I remember...

"Yes?" more like a question when I feel my lips dry waiting for him to walk towards me. His boots stops inches from my toes, the man bends down so we are eye level, his dark hood hiding his God like face but I feel him stare anyway.

"Because you are different from others, they want you so they can take you away from me."

What?

"I don't understand..." I really didn't.

My murderers wants to take me away from this unknown man? I don't even know him! But his wolf... Wait...

"Your wolf... Its... -" I can't even finish when I see him grin and his eyes flash under his hood when he leans closer, giving me a better look for his face.

"Yes, little one... We have met before."
