After going to bed early the night before, Ivy rose with the sun. She pushed back the drapes in her room and glanced from the window into the car court below, where a marine layer misted the property. Peering closer, she sucked in a breath.
Bennett was lifting his bags into the back of his SUV.
Their conversation from the night before flooded back to her.
