JASPERS POV
Ruth thought it was a good idea for me to keep my distance from Amelia since she had asked me to allow her to think about my offer. I could understand why Ruth would think that giving Amelia some space was a good idea. I didn't want to crowd her or put her under pressure but I was getting impatient. I wasn’t necessarily at peace with the decision to not call her but Ruth managed to convince me that if I pushed Amelia too hard she would resist and end up rejecting me. I didn’t want her to reject me, I wanted her to accept everything about me and agree to do this the way it was supposed to be done.
However, I decided to go with Ruth’s advice because I figured if anyone knew better about women it was Ruth. I wasn’t sure if female humans and female wolves had anything in common
