JASPER’S POV
After Amelia and I went back to bed, I was both relieved that she had decided to stay with me and nervous of what she would do with the information that I ad just given her. She could easily decided to go and tell the elders but I hoped that she wouldn’t do that. I didn’t want to get Ruth is trouble, I was aware that all that was happening was Ruth’s fault but l also had to take some responsibility in the part that I played. Ruth never forced me to sacrifice my mates but seeing the oracle had been her idea. Maybe we should have just let my mother die, maybe then I wouldn’t be in as much trouble as I was in right now.
