The Scorpish g**g The novel is all about a wicked bunch of teen agers who experience a bit of spice in their regular life. This spice is a mixture of incidents or to be more specific, co incidences that give birth to some mature realizations, sense of humors, human morals and qualities. To start the storyline a bunch of four notorious school boys plan to have a prank with a new comer. But that new comer has a different and unusual behavior along with a curious bandage around his back which the boys are only to notice as the prank does not work out properly. Since then they try to figure out what is wrong with this boy, why he dresses up like this, why he wears bandages etcetera. The detailed story begins while they step up to find answers, they follow the boy and find out that the boy is one of the child workers in a wood factory. Meanwhile many other things continue to happen such as Peter’s grandmother suffers from a cardiac arrest, they remember a special congested place they call “Oak Office” to carry on their meet ups secretly and clean the place up. A very important character in this story is Uncle Rick who is a common bridge between every one of the group, a one legged retired soldier with no children. The boys regularly visit his house, taste his wife’s delicious cooking and share their special incidents with him. He is more of an advisor, guardian and well-wisher of them. While planning to follow that new boy the school remains closed and when they walk by the closed school just as a normal hangout, they see that the forest behind their school is completely destroyed for the name of development by a non-government company. And co-incidentally that new comer, Paul, works at the company’s wood factory. The flow of events become hotter when Paul’s father dies in an accident in the factory, who was also a worker at the factory. On the day of his death Peter was at the hospital where he was taken after accident. Time passes by and the boys feel in them that they should stand beside this boy, give him some company, apologize for the opening gestures. They get really close to the boy gradually and get the best chance to prove their friendly attitude towards him. It is the annual sports program of their school but being not economically capable he does not fill the criteria of having a sports suit which is a must to get on the pitch. One of the four boys helped him out by lending him his ones. Paul brings up unexpectedly brilliant results in the sports events surprising everybody. He gets so closed with them that they are ready to share their “Oak Office” with him. They get some free days as pre sports events will go on in the school while they have completed their participations on the very first day. They want to spend these days working on the Oak Office, making a new shade and add some more stuffs. Uncle Rick helps them out in this regard with detailed planning and all the necessary ingredients. But another occurrence was spreading its branches behind all of these. Paul notices a lot of irregularities related to his father death and he has allegations against the company too. The company is related with such a huge criminal syndicate that Paul had no idea about. Seeing Paul as a possible danger the manager wants to trade him in one of their crimes “Human Trafficking”. Paul somehow manages to flee away from their grab and takes place in the Oak Office. Next day the boys find out and Paul confesses about everything. Uncle Rick warns the boys and tells them to stay careful. He also takes responsibility of Paul for the next days and takes legal actions. But unfortunately both Uncle Rick and Paul get kidnapped in front of his house. The boys do not wait for the police to take over things which would cause huge time waste. Hence they gather up all the clues and discover Cesar, a friend of Paul who knows a lot of inner information about the factory. Two of them are kept in an abandoned mansion which was known to Cesar as a nurturing center for the foreign goers. Later the boys rescue two of them showing severe courage and a good presence of minds. Along with it they enlighten the hidden crimes led by that company. The company used to do smuggling and traffic black men abroad and many other crimes. The bravery of the boys gets published in a newspaper. They are praised by all and most importantly their lives get changed on the basis of some morals and experiences. Peter: 15 years age, Eighth grader, medium height, black hair, brown skin. He has the qualities of a leader. Elliott: 16 years age, reads with Peter, medium height, black hair, white skin. He has a good sense of humor and good control over knowledge and scientific experiments. Ross: 15 years age, comparatively taller than Peter and Elliott, golden hair, white skin. He is interested in gardening. Talks less politely than others. A good friend of theirs. Jonas: 15 years age, tall, obese, brown hair, white skin. He likes to eat. Walking and working hard is out of his dictionary. Paul: 16 years age. Medium height black hair, black skin. Belongs to a poor family. Works part time at a factory. Uncle Rick: 35 years age. Retired and disabled army man. He has no children. He has a good relationship with Peter, Elliott, Jonas and Ross.
