Iris's POV It's been five days since I saw him. Five days since I heard of Derek. It was killing me. To know that I never wanted to stay away but I was the one to push him; it was hurting me. I can never forget the look he had when I left him. “Iris, pay attention!” Economic professor gave a stern look. I nodded and put on my best face that could have made him believe that I was present mentally. It shouldn’t have been hard but it was a bit. I ain't able to focus on anything. I don’t even know how Derek is. Even if I have work; I asked Alan to hand me everything at the campus and pick them up from my apartment. Dad wanted me to stay with him but I refused. Maybe it was his best decision to protect me that way and avenge my incident but I still cannot believe that he helped that b***h.
