Ah, the shock on her face when I said that to her was so pleasing to watch. She was more than surprised that I, the man who she hated, was not only her boss but also her neighbor.
We stood in front of her house without saying anything to each other. She was probably fighting with her thoughts on what to say.
“You? How.. How are you here? How is that your house? When did you even have the time to move here? Are you kidding me?”
