I was sitting at my desk, like usual when Austin came out of his office and looked at me.
“Can I help you?” I asked him. What was wrong with him?
He shook off whatever that look was in his face and said, “Yeah, um, you know how my dad donates occasionally to the high school?”
I looked at him, what is he talking about? “No, I didn’t know your father did that. So…”
Again Austin got a weird look on his face and looked at me.
“Austin? Earth to Austin, you ok?” I asked him.
“Yeah, sorry. I got too much going on in my brain. Yeah, my dad donates to our high school. Normally it isn’t a big deal. Only this time, I guess because it’s for a new football stadium, it’s a big deal.” Austin said.
“Ok.” I said not sure why Austin is explaining this to me.
“It’s tonight.” He said.
