We walked out the prom hand in hand. I admit I was nervous. I really did want to be with Austin but maybe it was because this was a prom that I felt like that young girl who was about to lose her virginity.
We got on the elevator, I was looking straight ahead at the doors. I could feel Austin’s eyes watching me.
