I will always love you

Friday night

    The days have past by in a blur and it was Friday already. Matt and I have finished the building of the mini-house for Lorely and we were in my bedroom as i was preparing myself for the dinner with his brother.

    "So, when do you want to have the ceremony for Lorely?" he asked.

    "I was thinking that Sunday will be the perfect day. I talked to the priest to come and bless the mini house in the morning and I was thinking that in the evening we can put her there." I said

    "That is perfect. Do you want anyone else to be present?"

    "Yeah, I think that mom and dad should be there. And also Jules. They are the only one that deserve to be there that day."

    "Are you ready to face all this?" he asked.

    "Not really, but it is time to face all my daemons and for them to know the truth." I said.

    "Okay, sweets. I will be there for you no matter what happens." he hugged me "Now get yourself ready for that brother of mine." he said while living my room.

    At eight in the evening Ethan came and as soon as he saw me, "WOW, I knew that you are beautiful, but tonight you are beyond beautiful. I think even the moon is jealous of your beauty right now." he said.

    "Thank you" I said while blushing like a complete i***t. "Can we go now? And by the way, you never said where are you taking me."

    "Oh darling, this is a surprise." he said smiling.

    When we got to the restaurant I never expected it to be the most known in the city "The Moonlight" I said "How did you manage to have a reservation here? I heard that you have to call at least 3 moths earlier in order to have a table."

    "Well, let's say, that when I want to impress you, there is nothing that I couldn't do." he answered while the hostess was taking us to our table.

    As soon as we arrived at our table I saw him, at another table, Jack was having dinner with a woman. When he spotted me with Ethan he stopped talking to the woman in front of him and she turned around to look what distracted him from her. And that is the moment when I froze, I was unable to breath or to think. It was her, Emma Sinclaire, and when she saw me I saw anger in her eyes. She stood up from their table and approached us with a fake smile on her lips.

Flashback

    We were in the first year of collage when Emma found out that Jack was my first, "You stupid b***h, did you really think that because he screwed you one time he will leave me and be with you?" she said when she cornered me in the bathroom and was holding my hair.

    "Leave me alone! I don't know what you are talking about!" I said, assuming that Jack would have never told her about what happened between us at the night of the bonfire and especially before talking to me about what happened.

    We were partying at the beach near the bonfire and we were drinking and celebrating when Jack came to me, put his hands around my waist and told me that he was dreaming about me and that because of the alcohol he had the courage to tell me the truth. He kissed me and told me I was the only woman he was capable to love and that he has to be my first one. That night he took my V card and made love to me until morning. I fell asleep and when I woke up he was gone. That happened almost a week ago and I haven't seen him since then and he never returned my calls.

    "I know what happened that night after the bonfire party you ugly piece of shit." she said "I know that he was f*****g you and that is why he couldn't make it to me."

    "You are crazy!"  I said and liberated myself from her and went running outside.

    After a walk and calming myself I knew that it was the time to face the storm and talk to Jack so I went to the boys dorm. When I reached his door and was about to knock I heard voices inside and instantly I recognized Emma and Jack. They were talking and that is when I took the decision to listen, even if it made me uncomfortable. "I know babe, and it's okay, i forgive you for that night." heard her saying.

    "Listen Emma, you promised that you will never let anyone know about that. She is Jules best friend and I don't want to get into an argument with my sister." he said.

    "Yeah I know babe, and it is okay. I will never tell anyone that I know about that. And if she still insists to talk to you and brings up the subject, you can blame all on alcohol and say that you don't remember anything."

    "You are brilliant!" he said while taking her but in his hands and kissing her neck.

    I stood there shocked hearing her moaning as a tears came down my face when his roommate Jared  came and scared me "Hey Bella, are you here to see Jack?" he said while pushing the door open and making them notice me. Jack's face was a pure shock while Emma was smiling.

    "Well, well, if it is not the little slut from my year." she said.

    "Bella, is everything alright? Why are you here?" he said with fear in his eyes.

    "It is nothing" I said "I just came by to talk to you, but I see you are busy. I just hoped that before talking to anyone else about that, you would have talked to me first. But it is okay, I should have known better what kind of crap you are, after all I know you all my life. And even if everyone thought that you are a good for nothing, somewhere deep inside me I wanted to believe that you have something good in you, but I see I was wrong." and turned around to leave.

    "Wait, Bella!" he said

    "For what Jack? I already heard everything I had to hear from you. And it's okay, now I know the truth and I am sorry for disturbing you with my calls all this days, that will not happen again. Have a good life." and I left. I heard Jared calling me while I was running away so no one could see my tears. I went straight to my bedroom, took the letter from Stanford I have received, took my phone, called the university and arranged my transfer there. I packed my things and it was a good thing that Jules was at a cottage with her boyfriend  because I would have never been able to leave her without telling her all. I was hurt, I left her a letter, called my parents and told them my decision and asked them accept it without questioning me. That night I left to Stanford and never wanted to come back.

Present

    "Hello Bella, I did not knew that you came back home." she said.

    I turned to her and saw that Jack was joining her as well "Hello Emma" I said "Jack" and gave him a look that was saying, please leave now.

    "Jack" I heard Ethan "I did not knew you were coming here tonight. Would you to like to join us?" he said "I wasn't on a double date since collage" he added.

    In that moment I took his hand and said, "Ethan, maybe they want to spend the night alone. Please don't force yourself on them."

    "Oh that will be lovely" I heard Emma replying "I am Emma Sinclaire, by the way, and you are?"

    "Oh, where are my manners? I am Ethan Davis" he replied "Waiter, could you please bring another 2 menus for our friends?" he addressed to the waiter while Jack and Emma joined our table.

    I stood there, lost in my thoughts while they were talking about I don't know what. We ate our dinner and when it came time to desert I was already watching the clock to see if I can make up an excuse to skip desert and leave.

    As I was about to open my mouth and say something I saw Matt approaching our table in a hurry. "Oh my God, finally I found you!" he said looking at me

    "What happened?" Jack and I asked at the same time

    "Come sweets, we need to hurry! Your dad is in the hospital!" he said and that is when I saw black before my eyes and lost consciousness.
