Pack

I don't know how many days I was walking but I couldn't do it anymore. I've been laying under this tree for a day or so I think. I've been in and out of consciousness because of my fever, and my whole body is sore. I tried making it to a human town but I mostly just got lost.
I try to stand up leaning against the tree. I have to find somewhere, anywhere that will take me. I use trees to walk but don't make far before I fall to the ground. I just lay in the new spot and it feels nice. The nice cold ground feels nice right now. I start to fall unconscious and also hear voices, but I soon just pass out.
I don't know how long I was out for but I woke up in a room. I looked around and it doesn't look familiar, so i'm not back at home. I try and sit up but the room spins and I lay back down. I rub my forehead and try to figure out where I am. We don't have many packs around us because of aggressive the pack is.
There's actually been 3 or 4 battles since me and my dad joined. I know a few but none of them would let me in, if I tell them what pack i'm from. I wonder what kind of pack this is, will they let me stay, or will they banish me too. I lay there and think when someone enters the room.
" Oh you're finally awake. " I hear the woman say.
I look over and she walks right up to the bed, and puts her hand on my forehead.
" You're still pretty warm so just rest if you can. "
I think she could tell that I was uneasy, because she tried to reassure me that I was safe.
" You don't have to worry okay, you're safe here okay. "
I was still uneasy and tried to not show it much. She fixed my blankets and just left, I laid there for a little bit till a man came in.
" Oh you're still awake, good. "
He goes to the desk and grabs a chair and walks to the bed, he sits on the chair.
" I'm John, I'm the head beta of this pack, can I ask you some questions. "
I nod and try to sit up.
" It's okay you can lay down. "
I sit up and look at him waiting for questions.
" Okay, so why were you out in the woods. "
" I was banished from my pack. " I say weakly.
" What, " He says confused. " You're only a child. Why did they banish you. "
" I was too weak. "
He lets out a deep sigh. " One of those packs huh. We've seen a lot of packs doing that lately, but they never done it to a child before. What pack are you from. "
I don't answer.
" It's okay to tell us we won't hurt you. "
" The Crimson Night Pack. "
He take a deep inhale and exhale. " I see. I've hears about that pack, they are really vicious. I heard that they were being attacked, so they forced a pack to join them. Where are your parents, did they let them banish you. "
I shake my head. " They're both dead. "
" Oh I'm sorry. "
" My father worked hard to be strong so that I could stay. "
He stands up. " I see. I'm going to talk to the alpha, he should be here soon okay. "
I nod.
" And don't be alarmed or anything, he's pretty intense. "
He leaves the room and waves before he heads down the hallway. I just sit there hoping that they don't kick me out too. I don't even know what pack I'm in right now, but his name sounds familiar. I just hope I can stay.
I sit and hear my stomach growl. I haven't eaten in a few days. I stand up leaning against the wall and head for the door. Even if I find some water I'll be fine, I'm hungry and thirsty. I slowly make it to the door, and almost make it out but I bump into something.
" Where do you think you're going. "
I jump and fall backwards.
" You all right. "
I stand up staggering and nod.
" Where were you going. "
The way he talks is scary, just his voice scares me.
" I was. " I say stuttering but before I can finish my stomach growls.
" Oh you're hungry. "
" I was trying to get something to drink.. " I say quietly
" We can get you something to eat on the way. "
On the way. Are they kicking me out, what are they gonna do.
" We going to the doctor. We couldn't take you before because she was out, but she's back now. "
I nod and he starts walking. I slowly follow behind slightly leaning on the wall.
" I'm Micheal, I'm the alpha of the Dark Crest Pack. "
I stop and look at him. The Dark Crest Pack is on of the strongest packs out there. My pack went against them a few years ago and we got annihilated. It's one of the reasons that we're so weak right now. They say the alpha is the worst, that he can destroy a large patrol by himself.
" You don't have to be afraid. The rumors are true about us, but we only attack those that deserve it. We don't go around destroying pack like yours does. "
I look down ashamed. I know my pack is bad but they were the first ones to take us in. My dad went through hell the first few years that we were there. They were a horrible pack that did destroy other packs around them.
" Sorry. "
He sighs. " It doesn't matter now, they kicked you out right. "
" Yes. "
" We'll discuss if you can stay here, not a lot of people will trust you, if they find out what pack you're from. If they don't want you here we'll take you a pack that does. "
" Okay. "
We walk down some stairs and down a hallway and reach a room. He knock on the door then opens it.
