I've been in my room the whole day, and Conner has come to see me. I told him to go away and he hasn't come down in awhile. I don't care what he says, I'm leaving tonight. I packed my bags and got the map, I just need a few more things then i'm gone. I need some of my chem sets and herbs.
I open my door and peak out, and don't see anyone. I head to the table and grab what I need. Good thing the vehicles are close by, all I have to do is sneak these out. I bring the stuff from the table to the door leading outside. I go and grab the bags from my room and place by the door as well.
Conner POV
I hit her, I really hit her. How could I do that to her. I just didn't them to take her.
3 weeks earlier
I found two book for witches, none for potions and one for familiars. I'm hoping she will like these, shes been wanting to learn more about witches. Hopefully these will do. I asked one of Victors High Sages to connect me with a witch. They were hesitant to talk to me, but when I said it was for another witch, they helped.
I'm heading back now just a few hours away from the pack. I'm driving and it's peaceful, then suddenly this woman walks into the middle of the road. I slam on the break almost hitting her. I just jump out of my car.
" What the hell is wrong with you lady. " I shout at her.
" You're Conner, right. Conner Woods, alpha of the Dark Crest Pack. "
" Yes. What do you want. "
" You have that half-breed from the The Crimson Night Pack, right. "
" You stay away from her. "
She scoff. " Tell her to stay away from us. She will come to us on her own, and we will take back what she stole. "
" She didn't steal anything. "
She smiles. " You sure about that. Her father took something something from us, It's not at the pack so she must have it. "
" She doesn't have anything from that pack and she will never go to you guys. "
She laughs and throws a box at me. " Give her these, she'll enjoy them more then the ones you got, and she will come to us no matter what. Even if we have to drag her back. We have toys too that will make her talk. "
" Stay away from her. "
She laughs. " You can try to keep her, but we'll get her sooner or later. "
She starts backing up. " Most likely against her will. "
" You're not leaving! "
I go to run after her but she just disappears.
" s**t! "
I sigh and pick up the box. I open it and look at the books. I get in my car and put the box in the passenger seat and drive home. I'm not gonna let them take her.
Now
I sigh again. How am I gonna talk to her now. I didn't mean to hit her. All of my anger and her anger fused together, then she said that about me and my father. I hurt her and I swore to protect her, but instead I hurt her.
I hear a knock at my door.
I sigh. " Who is it. "
" Sorry alpha, it's me Will. "
" Come in. "
He walks in and closes the door behind him.
" Sorry to bother you, but we need to talk about The Everclaw Pack. They keep requesting help. "
" Yes, yes sorry. How many can you send. "
" I can send, maybe 6. "
" Okay, make sure their ready to go by the morning. "
" Alpha, are you sure. "
" Yes. " I say slightly yelling. " I'm sorry. I'm just a little stressed. "
" It's fine alpha, I get it. If you would like any- " He stops talking and turn his head slightly. " Did you approve anyone taking one of you cars. "
" No, why. "
" I heard one of them start. "
" What!. "
I jump out of my seat and run outside. As soon as I walk out I can see one of my cars going down the road.
" Raven! "
I run back inside and all of the keys are gone.
" s**t. She took all the keys. "
Raven POV
Will came at the right moment. As soon as he went into Conner's office, I started putting my stuff in one of the cars. I snuck in and grabbed the keys to all the cars. I found the set that went with the car, and just threw the away. I'm not used to driving and I'm hoping to get to the pond in the next few days. I have a lot of cash and I have my credit cards, and I hope he doesn't cancel it.
I don't know when he'll find the keys, I just hope he doesn't know where I'm going. He didn't really look at the map, so there's noway he can know where I'm going. I drive down the highway then pull over. I type the Midburn into the GPS and it estimates 86 hour drive.
" 86 hours. What!? " I yell out loud
I sigh and start driving. This is gonna take awhile, and I hope it's worth it.
Conner POV
" Do you know where she could've gone. " Will asks.
" No. I don't know. Wait. "
" What? "
" There was a map in her room, there was spots all over it. I remember some of the places. Give me a map. "
