Chapter 16

Layla POV

I was arguing with Adam when we were pushed to the ground. I looked up and saw the man from earlier was standing in front of the girl. He's putting a blade into her stomach

" Silver and igraltic. I hear it's poisonous to witches. " He takes it out. "This is probably enough. "

He uses his super speed and disappears. The girl stumbles backwards. If she falls into the pond she can corrupt it. Before I can even get up she falls into the pond.

" No. " I yell.

Suddenly the pond lights up. The huge rocks behind the pond, light up with symbols. The smaller rocks surrounding the pond light up as well. The four elemental symbols places around the pond glow in a bright blue.

" What the hell. " I say confused.

The light and glow slowly dies down, soon the only glow is from the pond.

" Adam, grab her. "

Adam goes into the pond and picks her up.

" She's still alive. We need to get her back. " Adam says.

" We need to hurry. " I say

We got her to the coven as quick as we could.

Raven POV

I wake up dazed and confused, and chained up. My body feels like it's burning, and the pain is my stomach is unbearable. I try to look around but my vision is blurry and I could feel myself losing consciousness. Just before I do the doors swing open.

" Get her out of those chains fast, and give her the antidote. We need to send word to..." A women barges in shouting.

I black out before she finishes her sentence. I wake up in a bed and my whole body is in pain. I try and move but pain shoots from my stomach, and I groan. I lift up the blanket and then my shirt and see a bandage. I put the blanket down and go to rub my head and feel a bandage.I touch my forehead and wince when pain shoots from my forehead. Why does my forehead hurt, they didn't hit me or anything.

I look around the room and see my stuff in a pile in the corner of the room. I can barely move and my stuff is in the opposite side of the room. I try to use my telekinesis to bring my one of my bags, but all I do is just is make it fall off the pile. When I stop trying, It feels like someone hit me in the head with a baseball bat.

" Dammit. " I say out loud quietly.

The door opens and a man walks in.

" Oh good you're awake, I just arrived. " He says

I try to sit up but the pain is too much and I groan.

" It's best to not move. The antidote for the poison was given to you too late, so the poison is decimating slowly. What little healing powers you have are not working, and your wound has barely healed. "

" What. " I say weakly.

He walks over to me and pulls the blanket and lifts up my shirt.

" What are you doing. " I say panicky and try to move his hand, I wince as I push him away.

" I'm trying to look at your wound, stop moving. "

" Get away. "

I push him away really hard resulting me to fall off the bed, onto my stomach. I scream out in pain.

" What are you doing you i***t, you can open your wound. "

The pain in my stomach get's worse, and I groan in pain.

" You opened your wound, dammit. " He says annoyed.

He turns me over and I hold my stomach.

" s**t. You reopened your whole wound. " He says kinda worried.

He sighs. " Just hang on. "

he picks me up and I groan. He walks out the door down the hall and I groan in pain.

" The poison should be out of your system soon, but I don't know why your not healing. " He says.

" My healing ability has always been weak. " I say weakly.

" I could tell before I saw your wound. "

" How? "

" Your cheek. Even though it's not fresh it's still visible. "

I turn my head so he can't see it.

" Is that the reason you came here. Werewolves used to enslave witches for their magic, but I haven't seen it done in a few centuries. "

I turn to him " I wasn't a slave. " I yell and groan afterward.

" Don't move to much. We finally made it to the healers. "

He opens the door and walks in.

" She reopened her wound and is bleeding pretty bad. " He says putting me down on a bed.

The guy sighs. " All I can do is close the wound. "

" Where's your high-healer. " The guy says annoyed.

" He was killed by werewolves the first attack. "

" Why didn't anyone awaken me then. "

A woman walks into the room. " Because you couldn't have done anything. "

" Excuse me? " He growls.

She sighs. " Ward, deal with her wound. "

He nods. " Yes ma'am. "

The guy starts to heal my wound. " This shouldn't hurt. "

" There's nothing you could've done. It was a problem that we had to deal with. You couldn't purify the ponds. Our power comes from the connection of the ponds, and the ponds connection to the ancestors. "

" If the ponds die out, I wont have a chance to get rid of this curse. "

" That's actually who we think is behind this. The coven that cursed you, Coven Of Nightshadow. They've used Dark magic, and that is the only coven that we know of that can use it. "

" No it can't be. I destroyed that coven, killed every witch. "

" What about the humans. "

" They don't keep humans. "

She sighs. " You know sometime a witch can give birth to a human, and that human, even though has no magical power, can still carry witch blood. They were known for sending human children away. "

He sighs. " Why am I even here. You awoke me for what reason. Like you said, There's nothing I could've done. "

" I awoke you because of her. "

" What that poor excuse of a witch. She barely has any powers and. "

She cuts him off. " And something is blocking those powers. The side of her face is bruised, even with regular human healing, it should be more far gone. Plus there's this. "

She walk over to me and looks at the healer. " You done. "

He nods. " Yes, but she souldn't move to much, she can open her wound again. "

" Thanks, you can go now. "

" Yes ma'am. " He bows and leaves.

She grabs the bandage on my forehead and takes it off.

" Ow. " I shout.

I touch it and feel something on my forehead. The guy walks right up to me and grabs my face, and looks at my forehead.

" No way, this is impossible. "

He looks at me with shock and confusion.

" You're supposed to me extinct. "

" Can you please stop touching me. " I say, trying to pry his hands off my face.

He looks at me in the eyes.

" Who are you. "

" Raven. Can you please let go of me. "

" Do you have any idea what you are. Wolf of the eclipse. "
