A rather alarming amount of cannibalism. Well, the consumers aren't entirely human, so not quite.

Shapeshifting. Probably.

Casual killing. Look, everyone's slayed a bunch for all their own reasons some time or another. Some more than others.

Mentions of traumatic events within certain people's past. They've all seen and done too much in their lifespans.
