Howls of tomorrow

    "Lilith, get your ass down here! Jenny and Sienna are waiting for you! " my mom yelled. It was my first day of freshman year, and I was standing in front of my body length mirror, checking out my fresh new outfit when my two best friends burst into my room laughing.     "You guys ready to go?" I ask anxiously, hoping that I'm not the only one nervous. "As ready as Ill ever be I guess, I'm honestly kinda freaked out." Jenny responds. I breath a sigh of relief, knowing I'm not the only one of us with jitters. "Good I'm not the only one..." Sienna adds, reading my mind and trying to lighten the mood.     Sienna is the daughter of the alpha, with ash blond hair that falls to her lower back, and deep chocolate brown eyes. She has fair skin and the cutest freckles that cover her nose and a small portion of her cheeks, that I'm so jealous of. She's about 5'6 already and slim as a stick. Jenny is the daughter of the beta. She is a ginger with shoulder length hair and pale skin, we always tease that she doesn't have a soul. She about 5'6 as well and she is pretty average for a she wolf when it comes to her body. I have dark raven hair that goes down to the bottom of my shoulder blades with ice blue eyes and tan skin. I'm 5'3 and i'm the most well built, I am the daughter of the gamma after all.      "You guys look awesome!' I say motioning to the two of them. "Thanks you too!" they say in unison. We all stop and look at each other for a moment and burst out into laughter. " why does that keep happening?" Sienna says recovering from laughter. " Don't know, but let me know when I figure it out" I add through my laughter. "Come on girls your gonna be late!" my mom yells from down stairs. "coming!" I yell in response. "we better get going" Jenny says opening the door. We walk out after her and head down stairs to the kitchen and to the front door      "Have a good day!" my mom yells after us "we will, love you!" I shout back, waving up at her. when we are out of the house and on the side walk we start at a comfortable pace. I look down at my watch start to panic. "Crap, crap, crap! school starts in 30 minutes, and it takes 25 to get to school. That doesn't leave us much time at all to find our classes!" I frantically start to speed up with my two friends right next to me.      "thank god for werewolf speed" sienna said as she started to pick up the pace with, me and Jenny right behind her.      As we got into school, the hallways were starting to clear and we all started to panic. None of us wanted to make bad impressions on our teachers. lucky we all had the same homeroom, so we didn't have to look all over the place for our classes. Home room was ELA and was my favorite subject but Jenny and Sienna couldn't care less.  We all got seats right next to each other and started to get out all the supplies required for the class.    Class went by quickly and we all got the chance to look thoroughly through our schedule         HR: ELA     2nd: math     3rd: chemistry      lunch     5th: science     6th: algebra     7th: P.E.           We all had most of the same classes except, I had chem when they had Home economics . I was cool with that though, I was never interested in that stuff. "Are you gonna try out for the cheer team with us?" Sienna asked innocently. " yeah, no thanks. I would rather watch the grass grow" I responded sarcastically. "ya sure? It could be fun you know" Jenny added " I'm pretty sure all our moms are going to be there so they can watch us cheer and both your brothers practice for their foot ball game on Sunday."  Jenny said. " Ill watch but that is it, okay. I always thought that the uniforms where pretty provocative, so i don't know how long ill be able to stay there."I said with a sly grin. After hearing my response sienna gave me a death glare that said "don't you dare".     I decided not to say anything else and to continue walking, but my grin never faded.      Soon enough the day had come to an end and the girls made their way to the football field, with me hot on their tails. "come on Lily, please try out with us..." sienna begged with a pout hanging on her lips. "come on, don't give me that look, I'm not flexible by any stretch, and when it comes to school spirit, I've barley got enough to fill up a small plastic bag...." I say looking back and forth between them with sarcasm lacing my words. "ugh, fine. But It would still be more fun if you where doing it with us..." Jenny sighs in defeat. " yeah right, I would just make us look like idiots, and if you guys still want be on the team, then its best if I stay on the bleachers" I say, trying to convince them.      They make there way to the field as I make my way to the sidelines to meet my mom, Luna Bella, and beta Morgan. "hey mom, beta, Luna." I say with a wave " hey hun, are you going to try out" Luna Bella asks with a frown. "Na, thought I would just sit and watch" I respond simply. "So how was school honey?" mom asks with a kind smile. "uneventful, that's for sure. Not one person broke into a song during class today..." I say with fake disappointing frown. They all stared at me, and before I could contain it laughter sprouted from my mouth. They soon caught on and started laughing with me. Little did I know, this was the last time I would see any of them laughing.
