Ava’s POV
Cameron and I are nearly to the top of the stairs when we hear heavy footsteps running down the hall.
We glance at each other and both lean over the stair railing to see what was going on.
Caleb is running down the hall, slowing down slightly as he sniffs the air, growls menacingly, and takes off to the left hallway.
I look at Cameron in surprise and open my mouth to say, I wonder what that was about, when I hear familiar clicking coming down the hall too.
We both lean back over to see Lily in her fluffy high heeled slippers and pink robe looking around wildly.
“Caleb! Caleb!”
