Ava’s POV
“Any chance you would be up for skipping the dinner tonight?”
Cameron tosses aside the towel he was using to dry his hair and wraps his arms around my towel clad body from behind.
He lowers his lips to my neck.
“Cameron! We can’t skip the dinner!” Giggling, I duck under his arms and make my way to the closet to get dressed, dropping my own towel onto the floor.
Cameron groans and flops his naked body onto the messy bed.
“We can go to the next one…”
I lean out of the closet to wag my finger at him.
“It’s my sister’s Luna celebration, I have to go.”
“Not the official one…”
“That doesn’t matter. I need to be there for her. Especially after all the drama earlier…”
I hear Cameron groan again as I pull on my green sundress.
“Does this mean we can skip the official one?”
