Ava’s POV
Nervously smoothing my straightened hair around my face, I squeeze Cameron’s hand as we are about to walk into ‘the lounge’, which would be equivalent to our packhouse dining hall, or so I have been told.
This is my first time eating here and I am about to meet a lot of my new pack members. Cameron says he tries to eat here multiple times a week to check in on everyone, so I guess I will be too.
Even though Cameron said it was a casual place, I wore my best green sundress with a new pair of flat, strappy sandals that I bought when I went shopping with Lily the other day.
As far as I can tell, Lycan’s ‘casual’ is still way nicer than my kind of casual, and I hope even in my sundress that I am not underdressed.
