Ava’s POV
Frowning at my phone, I read the text from Cameron again.
“Busy all day. See you at the ceremony tonight.”
Umm. Okay.
I am starting to feel as if he is avoiding me.
That uneasy feeling just will not go away either.
“Hey! Ready to get your butt kicked?”
Ralph puts his fists up as he walks towards me and acts like he is boxing before dropping his hands at his side and frowning.
“What is wrong with you?”
“Oh, nothing. Sorry, just a lot on my mind.”
“Yeah, big day. Thought you could use a distraction.”
I nod absently.
“Training this way?”
I lead Ralph into the training facility, and we stop when we get inside so that Ralph can take it all in, looking as impressed as I was when I first saw it.
