Ava’s POV
“So, what is the new plan?”
Cameron gives a small smile and swipes my hair out of my face.
“Maybe a shower is a good place to start.”
Oh.
I feel my face flush at the thought that he must think I smell bad.
“I, for one, would like to take one. It has been a long night. Care to join me.”
A small wave of relief washes over me as I smile and nod, following Cameron into the bathroom, enjoying how his muscles flex from the back when he moves.
“What will the Red Night pack do? What are we going to do?” I persist as we reach the bathroom and stop at the sink as Cameron moves forward to the shower and turns it on.
He glances back at me.
“We are still discussing it.” He flexes a finger at me to follow as he steps into the shower.
