A few days ago I had a great normal life, so what went wrong?
It just goes to show we are not all equal as I worked so hard to get my job. I am the first person in my family to graduate to having my honours degree in business administration . As I was adopted it stands to reason that my "parents" were not responsible for my good genes.
This is my first job that I applied for and was successful in getting , in the Century Building a gloriously structured glass and chrome building that towered above the surrounding buildings. This gorgeous monolith was the iconic building of the nauties as it was built after 2005.
I know because I am like that always looking up random facts that will not be interesting to other people as I have been told that I am nerdish by a past girlfriend who is not in my life anymore. I am a soft hearted gentle guy and I think she preferred the asshole she is with now , that beats her.
As I get to the door the door security doesn't even look at my name tag or verify it. He just says very respectfully ,"Have a great day ,Sir!". This is very surprising as I am always sure the security is always very thorough and check diligently for the identification of anyone that comes inside the building.
The other cool fact about the century building is that its a modern *green building" that has water catchment facilities on the outside of the building and that it has has different self generated electricity a new concept of smart buildings
The few other cool features are the building houses almost all the people that work in it. This massive collosal building has enormous alcoves all over the building that is like birds nests in the corners of the building that houses the people who work here. That helps the people to save rent and make the things easier for commuting as the worker doesn't need a vehicle to travel to and from work.
I am one of the people who will be living in the building as I don't have much clothing and the room comes furnished with built-in furniture that is very spacious and modern.
I am independent from my family and I am very happy about this fact
The only problem is that my adoptive family thinks that I owe. them money. My "Father" keeps on phoning me .
Even now as I am going to my own apartment in the alcove on the 33rd floor I have my "Father" trying to get hold of me. The call says urgent please contact me. I am supposed to phone him and then all he does is remind me that I owe the family as I was the one who wanted to study and now I have a job like he normally says "Son, you have your responsibility towards the family and now it's your turn to pay us back for taking you in from the time you were a baby." I heard that speech a thousand times and it still eats at me that my own parents never wanted me.
My adoptive parents were not nasty just lazy as far as I am concerned and this made me very angry and frustrated with them. They were always trying to get a handout from someone or somewhere and I never liked that way of doing things. I have not been a great team player of their way of doing things.
Today marks my first day in my new address and this new apartment is so wonderful as it's got two rooms. Both rooms has onsuit bathroom and toilet attached to the room.
I am checking my credit card balance up on my phone and I could have given my " Father " the money he wanted but I was just too angry at him to do so.
My anger is that he didn't congratulate me on getting this job and he never come with me as he did with his other children. They always got all of his attention and me. I got nothing but reminders of how much I owe them. So I decided to just put my phone number on off for his number.
I was going through everything for tomorrow For work my official first day. I had to get some shirts and pants also a lot of other items is needed.
I go out of my apartment and I don't need a key as my fingerprints are my keys. That is by far the coolest thing I have seen in a while now. I am just out by the door and I quickly find what looks like a nice shop that sells the most respectable clothing for men and I just love their quality. I am just so happy to still get them open and I take my time and when I went to the till to buy my items that I chose the lady at the till says that I don't have to pay. I am so shocked and I immediately say to her that this is a mistake as I do have a credit card and that I have to pay for my purchase. I am just so shocked as I take a good look at her and tell her to call the owner so that I can see if this is a hoax and if it is reality that is happening with me. I am so worried that maybe there's something wrong with the situation.
The owner comes out and talks to me and says "Yes sir you can have as much as you need and please sir it is on the house. I am just so curious as to what this could mean but because he insisted I take him up on his offer and take the clothes. This is the very first time something this strange has happened to me and I am wondering what this could mean and what is this all about???
