SALVADOR ♧ "What are you going to do with her?" Rick asked as soon as I walked into the mansion. I sighed, loosening my tie. "The only thing I want to do is look for a way to shut her mouth." I replied, taking the stairs up to my room. Rick followed me. "You mean, you want to kill her? It's inevitable anyways." He shrugged. Truthfully, I'm not sure what I want to do with her. I will not kill her neither am I letting go into the city. The secret she knows will put me, my business, my life, everything i have worked hard for at risk, Yet, this lady on one of my bodyguard's shoulder, I find her very intriguing. She managed to outsmart us twice. If it wasn't for my connection, I would have lost her. First, she is a nun and that is off the scale I thought she would be. Maybe an office assistant, a coffee maker, a chef or probably a banker -- that is what she should be. "I want you to dig into her background. Find out anything and everything about her. I need to know everything within an hour." I told Rick. "It seems you are forgetting something here. I am not your private investigator anymore. I am a hacker." Rick scoffed. "I know, asshole. Just -- do it." Rick sighed and left. He has been my family right from the very beginning. My parents took him in, adopted him so he has been my Foster brother ever since then. Rick is quite different from him. The one I lean on and the only one that knows too much about me. My phone beeped. I ignored it, pulling my shirt over my head and threw it into the trash basket. I went into the bathroom and stood under the shower. As the water ran over my head, down to my back, I remembered Gabe. That stupid priest stole my money and ran into hiding. I have searched for him for two months before it was found out he is staying at a Catholic church. "A father...." Rick chuckled when he showed me pictures of Gabe wearing a collar. People are capable to doing anything when it is time to run away from something they have done. It was so unexpected. Who would have imagined that Gabe, a bartender in my very own club who dwindled my money decided to escape to a church, where he can hide his sins and become a priest? That was quite a surprise. But there was something else. It caught my attention which doesn't occur very well these days. The fear in her bright gunmetal grape eyes. They looked like a cat towering away in fear. That was another unexpected thing too, meeting her in a goddamn strip club. Like, what the hell. I wrapped my towel around me while stepping out of yhe bathroom. 'Paired voice device.' That is my translator that can't be seen. It is always from my private investigators. "Why did you take long to answer?" I could imagine Rick rolling his eyes. My hands picked my bluetooth airpods and placed it inside my ears. "What did you find?" I asked, ignoring his question. There was really no need to do too much. Just a loose tee shirt and joggers. It is already late, past dinner time too. "Selene Rln Aldwark. Born in California, lived with her brother in Sicily. I'm not sure what happened between two years of leaving Sicily but she started stripping right after." Rick explained. I scoffed. "Why become a nun?" "I don't know, Sally. Maybe she hates the stripping job, decided to change her ways and become a sister." Rick answered lazily. Well, that must be the case because I can't think of any other explanation. "Why don't you ask her though? She might be able to tell you a few things about what probably happened." Rick suggested. I walked to my lampstand and turned the wristwatch there to the other side. "I'm not interested in silly stories, Rick." "Stop being a kill joy, Sally." He muttered. My brows tightened into a frown. "Is it until I cut your jaw open because of that stupid nickname, Sally? A boy doesn't bear the name, Sally. It's for girls!" It pisses me off everytime he calls me that. "Why?" Rick laughed, "Salvador is too long for me to pronounce. But the name, Sally, its not that bad, is it?" I sighed and ended the connection immediately. My stomach rumbled with low sounds. I haven't eaten anything since today. "Magna? Magna!" I called, descending the stairs. The room is always silent, no noise at all even though there are at least forty five people inside this entire mansion. The middle aged lady ran out from the kitchen, "Yes sir. Do you need anything?" Magna asked. "Yes, please. Did you prepare anything for dinner? I am very hungry." I asked, going straight to the living room. Magna followed me with her head bowed. "Not really, sir. I figure you will come back late so I only made little food. I had no idea you will --" "It's fine. Just bring what you have. You know the other necessities, for one other person inclusively." I told her and she left immediately. The dining table wasn't really my thing, especially not when they are showing my favorite show - crime news. "It was reported and also a clear scene of a deliberate murder. A priest of one catholic church was murdered right in the chapel about three hours ago. The details are not shared yet and the police are still looking into it." Report from the beautiful newscaster. The honest and fair police amongst the others who try to dig into this case will never find anything. The others are collecting four times their regular government pay from me so I have nothing to worry about. Magna came back into the living room with two trays and I took it from her. "Goodnight, sir." She said. I went back upstairs with the two trays in my hands as I took another route. My legs kicked open the door, making the lovely girl lying in bed to jump in fright. "You are safe. Don't bother about being afraid." I told her, going into the room fully not without closing the door. Selena stared at me with a frown of hate. "What am I doing here? Why am I here?" She asked. "I'm sure I am not mistaken that you know the deal." I dropped the trays on the center table, before sitting down on the available couch. "I brought you to my home." "Do you think this will make your secret safe? By keeping me here like a prisoner?" Selene fired with a scoff. Where did all her recent fear disappear to? I chuckled, "Nobody said you are a prisoner and i don't think i see any chains on your hands or legs." "Maybe that would make it more glaring because there is no difference. You are keeping me here against my will." She argued. I sighed tiredly. Why do we have to go over this again and again? "Do you prefer I slit your throat instead?" Maybe that would be better, will save me the stress. Selene swallowed and looked away. That's more like it. "Come, eat with me. You must be hungry." I pushed one of the trays forward a little. "I'm not hungry." She folded her arms against her chest stubbornly. On a regular day, I would have made her starve but I have something way more better. I dipped my hands into the pockets of my joggers and pulled out some tiny materials. "I might need you to wear these too." Selena stood up from the bed and took it from me. The leggings she was wearing is debarring from seeing her real skin and I have to see it. "What are these? Rags?" She scoffed, throwing them back to my chest. I chuckled, stretching the material. Its a white and black short skirt and a sleek cup bra. I know what annoyed her more than the fact that it is exposing is the fact that it looks like a nun dress color. "I need you to remove those clothes and wear this. Then, you will eat with me." I said, stretching it back to her. Selene scoffed, "I will starve if I have to because wearing that thing isn't gonna happen." She insited. I adjusted my sitting position and crossed my right leg over the other one. "It's not compulsory but there is one thing you need to know. Two of my guards will force you to if you don't adhere to my instructions so put them on now." She just stared at me stubbornly. It seems she isn't ready to back down. I chuckled, "Come on in." I dictated. Selena took a step back when the door opened and three men came in. She threw a glance at me while I nodded at them to go ahead. Two of the guards held her hands while the third moved his hands to fasten away her blouse. "Tell them to stop. What are they doing?" Selene shouted, unable to believe it. "What they are doing? They will strip you and help you wear what I gave you. I think that is fair." I smiled. Selene screamed, trying to kick them away with her fragile body but it surely isn't working. The third guard was about to -- "Fine!" She shouted, glaring daggers to me. "I will do it. Just -- tell them to stop." Finally. I signalled for them to stop and they bowed, leaving the room immediately. I turned back my attention to her. "Go on." "I need to use the bathroom to change, just a few minutes." Her hands trembled as she turned her eyes away from me. She hates it but I like it. I shook my head in disapproval. "What? What do you mean? I don't get to change in the bathroom too?" "No, Selena. You are doing it here, right in front of me." I smirked.
