Sam's POV I felt his presence as soon as she did, I could feel her body tense as if it were my own. How could she feel from this distance that there was an intruder before I did? Artemis did tell her she would be able to feel people with bad intentions, and I knew his intentions were demonic. He looked at her like she was his dinner, with nothing but a murderous look in his eyes. "I don't know what that was about, but the guards are on it," I tried reassuring Cordelia. She looked back at me with a small smile and walked back to her seat. The ceremony lasted a few hours and was over. I let Cordelia visit her family and friends for their congratulations for another hour before we went back to my office. I knew that the intruder had gotten away and that we were going to have a meeting about it, but I couldn't bring myself to take her away from her day. She has worked her entire life for this day. Gabriel and Dennis were waiting at the door for us, along with our other guards, to guide us to the SUV. We piled in and made our way back to the pack house. "Okay, so what was that about?" Cordelia said, trying to break the silence. I sighed. "We don't know, he got away," I said. "What do you mean he got away?" she asked me. I knew she was scared just by the tone of her voice. "Whoever he was had witches helping him. He waited until the guards were distracted and used some potion to get away. He left a scent and had to have left some sort of witchy tracker. Cavannah and her family are working on it now to see what magic he may have left behind. If we can find which witch gave him the magic, they could lead us to him." I said. "How did he even get in? I thought we had extra guards," she said. "We did, Luna, but a witch can hide the scent of an outsider and if he used that same potion to get in, he may not have been sensed. We will find him. He intruded in the wrong pack." Dennis said. "Wow, he can actually say something without making it a joke," Gabriel joked, making all of us laugh. "I'm sorta grown, man. In the ways that matter," Dennis said, winking at Gabriel. We pulled up to the pack house and all walked in towards my office. We all stepped out of the elevator and saw a crowd of guards at the door, all my men that took on whoever was there. "Alpha," they said in unisom. "Hello gentlemen, let's go on in," I said. We walked in and took our seats at the meeting table in the middle of the room. The men pulled out their written statements and handed them around the table to me. To make things easier, I read them aloud on the table. Basic information that we already knew, but we wanted everyone on the same page. "Did you point the Louise clan to the area where it took place?" I asked. "Yes sir, we blocked off the entire area and evacuated the crowd through different doors after the ceremony," Raphael, the guard, said. "Okay, good. Have some guards stationed with them until they're finished there. Up security around the entire territory, I don't want any mistakes tonight. You're dismissed for now. One of you, send Christian in here. I want guards at every entrance and every exit. Make sure we have a clear sight of the entire grounds," Sam said. "Yes Alpha, I'll go tell him now. But sir, he called us poochies. He wasn't a wolf, I don't know what he was, but he smelled like death," Raphael said, and filed out of the room. Who was this stranger? What did he want? And why was he watching a graduation ceremony? He was staring straight at me and I could feel it burning through me. "Do you have any idea who that could have been?" I asked Sameul. "I don't my love, but we'll figure it out, I promise," he said. We were supposed to have the strongest security, so how did someone get through? My dad has always bragged on how strong we were, so how did we slip? "Honey, what happened?" Christian asked, running to Cordelia. "We don't know yet, sir. All we know is that we had a breach. There was someone watching the graduation and was very keen on watching Cordelia. We are waiting for surveillance and more information," Sameul said. "How did someone breach us?" Christian asked. "They had the help of witches. We already have Cavannah all over it" Sameul said. "Do you need anything from me?" Christian asked. "We need any information you can find on any creature you know of with a hatred of wolves that smell like death. Raphael said the thing called them poochies, and he had a smell of death," Sameul said. "Sounds like a vampire," Christian said "If a vampire goes so long without eating they start to decay. The smell will follow them and smells like a morgue. Take me there, I can tell you if that's it or not,"
