(Brecclan POV)

Why didn’t he understand?

I had told him so many times and yet he was still refusing to listen.

“Leave me be Brecc! You and Luca both just need to let me be! I’m not a helpless child that doesn’t know what decisions are best for me. If I want to see her, then I will see her!” Niko screamed at me and he walked away.

Why didn’t he understand that it was not her wanting him. It was the bond craving his magic, and calling on us to complete it.

We all wanted her.

Wanted to complete the bond more than he knew but she doesn’t deserve us. As far as I was concerned, she could suffer just like she made us suffer.

“Brecc, she is knocking on the door asking for someone to talk to.” Luca interrupted my thoughts through our mind-link.

I growled but followed a steaming Niko toward the palace.

“Niko, stop right now and listen to me.” I demanded him.

“Brecc, just give me some space!” He turned on me screaming as loud as he could.

Anger coursed through me and I could feel my dragon surging forward but I held him back. He wanted to comfort our mate, didn’t want him angry with us.

“It’s not the three of us anymore, Brecc. Why cant you see that? She completes us, she is our keeper and without her this bond will never be what it could if we allowed her in.” he explained as if I didn’t already know all of this information.

I growled at Nikolai, frustrated that he would go so far as to try and interact with the b***h. She had almost killed him yet he seemed to not remember.

But Luca and I remembered all too well. The depression getting worse an worse each time she ran. Each time he thought we would find her but she would already be gone.

Watching him spiral down a black hole with no bottom day after day. Looking at my mate lying on the bathroom floor with ready to give himself over to the dark ones.

We almost lost him and it wouldn't be something we would ever forget. Had Luca not walked in an called on me before he was able to finish the spell he would be gone. They would own him and we would have had no way of getting him back.

The countless f*****g nights after that we spent staying up to watch him because he refused to get out of bed after we stopped telling him when we got hit on her location.

Niko had been the one to watch her for years while we waited for her to come of age. Luca and I wanted her but we weren't drawn to her like Niko. He worried because of who her parents were.

Though, I now believe they would hurt her he wasn't willing to take that chance.

He forgets the pain we endured being a witness to what she put him through.

"What did I f*****g tell you Niko!" I growled at him.

"Your not my father Brecclan! You are my mate!" he screamed at me as he turned and stalked off toward the forest.

"Then stop acting like a f*****g child. Look what she done to you and your just going to act like nothing ever happened." I spat disgusted with his actions.

"Just give me space, I'll be back later!"he yelled over his shoulder a I watched him disappear into the forest.

"Before I see her hurt you again, I'll kill her Nikolai!" I yelled into the darkness.

I turned to walk back to the palace planning to go to her room to order her to keep away from him when I was hit from behind and went flying through the air and landed face down on the ground.

Pain radiated in my shoulder as I pulled myself to my knees. I looked over to survey the damage and see my shoulder blade popped out of the socket. Gritting my teeth I hurriedly pulled my arm jamming my shoulder blade back to it's rightful place.

"f**k!" I winced.

"You won't f*****g touch her!" I head Nikolai growl in a demonic voice begin me.

I knew my eyes were blazing from the fury that ran through me as my dark magic spread though my body ready to unleash on him.

I turned to face my mate and the betrayal I felt from him radiated through the bond.

"Your going to choose her over me. After everything Nikolai?" I roared at him as his air flew up around his shoulders and electric sparks flew from him.

"Don't make me choose Brecclan!" he growled.

I knew in that moment what his choice would be. It would be her.

I swallowed the lump that had formed in my throat.

"GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!" I screamed at him.

Without a word he turned and walked back to the darkness of the forest were he always escaped to. The forest held many dangerous and lethal creatures with Niko being one of the worst. I knew what he was capable of . I had seen it with my own two eyes. I could even feel through our bond, but never did I think he would turn on me for her.

"What the hell?" Luca yelled from the doorway to the palace.

I turned and looked at him. I was too tired for this. This wasn't us! We didn't fight. It was her doing.

I looked toward the window were her room was an could see he silhouette catching through the window behind the bars.

I took off past Luca through the castle to her room. How dare she turn him against me.

"If you hurt her he'll never forgive you." I heard Luca following behind me.

"f**k him and f**k her!" I growled running up the stairs to angry to take the elevator.

I knew a way to punish her without ver touching her. I'll set her loose in a school full of demons. They'll do it for me. None of them knew she was our mate. They wouldn't think twice of picking on someone weaker than them.

I pulled my key from my pocket as I approached her room. I could still hear Luca running to catch up to me.

I could hear her voice and knocks echoing down the hall as I approached her door.

“Hello? Is anyone there? Please answer me!” he cries drifted down the hallway and I rolled my eyes already tiring of the bullshit her presence in my palace was stirring.

“What do you want Aubrette?” I growled through the door. I gave her enough time to step away not wanting to be to close to her because of the bond, and I opened the door.

I stepped inside and she instantly stepped back until her knees hit the couch.

“What did you need? Why the insistent yelling?” I growled at her.

I couldn’t help my eyes as they washed over her delicious body. She was the epitome of a woman and I wanted to take her so bad. I wanted to show her what pleasure and pain was, what delayed gratification would make her feel.

But, most of all I wanted her to mark me. Or rather the bond did. I knew if she marked me what she would see so, I would never allow it. Even if things got better.

I watched as her eyes roamed my body and her cheeks grew rosy rid when she saw I had caught her. I snickered at her and her eyes snapped to the floor.

“What did you want Aubrette?” I growled at her.

“I cant take being locked up in this room constantly. Please let me out. I won't run, I promise.” Her voice tickled my senses but I pushed them away.

“Oh, I know you won’t run. Your not stupid enough to take on the forest alone! I’m not worried about that. I don’t want you close to my mates, especially Niko. You’ve done enough damage!” I yelled feeling my blood began to boil and my dragon was trying to take over.

He wanted to complete the bond. To take her and make her ours. Yet, I refused him.

I stalked her like she was my pray and watched as her breathing grew more rapid. The bond called to me but I ignored it wanting to play with her head the way she had done us.

I took her trembling hands in mine and backed her up against the wall slowly. I lifted her arms above her head and captured her against me.

“You feel that? That spark between us? Its the bond calling us to complete it.” I whispered in her ear and watched her entire body tremble.

Was she frightened? Or did she want me? Maybe a little of both.

I placed my leg between hers to fully capture her and she took in a large breath. I could feel the heat radiating from her core.

“Please Brecclan?” she whimpered unsure if she was begging to be let go or for me to take her.

I ran my nose across her marking spot and a low growl escaped me making her shiver. I smiled as I slid my tongue down her skin that was so soft I wanted to see if all of her felt tgis way.

I could smell her arousal as it flooded the room. She smelt f*****g delicious. Like warm apple pie cooling on a window seal in a summer day.

I allowed my sharp teeth to graze her sensitive flesh and a whimper escaped her exciting me. She knew if I wanted to mark her, to force the bonds completion, that I would.

When I knew she was on the brink, about to beg for me to take her because she couldn’t take it, I pulled away. Watching as her supple cheats heaved from the sudden loss off the connection.

I smirked at her. "I hear your board. That you want something to do."

She shook her head and I smiled, "You'll start attending classes with the rest of us tomorrow. I'll have someone bring your schedule. Classes start at eight. Don't be late." I explained and didn't give her a chance to respond.

I need to get out of her room. Her scent was enveloping me and her bond called to me. It took all I had to hold my dragon back from forcing me to take her an make her ours.

I didn't want her!

I left the room and went to the next room over. My room. Or should I say our room. Niko had insisted she stay close so we put he in the room Niko had made us build for her so many years ago.

When it was close to her birthday he had filled it with everything she could ever need or wants in preparation for her arrival.

It was to be our room. We were going to move in the room with her once she became more comfortable.

I poured me a glass of scotch and plopped down in the chair beside the fire. Luca came in and looked at me.

"What are you doing Brecclan?" he asked looking confused.

I took a drink of the amber liquid and felt the soothing burn in my throat. "I don't know what you mean." I told him.

"Don't act stupid Brecclan. They will eat her alive. You done this on purpose." he sat in front of me and looked at me.

I glanced at him but turned my attention back to the dancing flames. "She wanted something I do." I chuckled.

Luca knew not to argue with me. Once I made my mind up about something I don't change it. "It's time she was punished." I snapped.

"Whatever, Brecclan

Don't drag me in between your and Nikolai's bullshit." he growled standing up to walk out of the room but I grabbed his hand pulling him to my lap.

I pulled his face down to mine and kissed him deeply. At first he didn't respond so I stroked the bulge in his jeans and he groaned into my mouth giving me access.

"You know you want me Luca!" I mumbled into his mouth lifting my hips so he would feel my c**k pressing into his ass.
