Emmanuel sits in the dark, staring in front of him. He has been captured for more than a month now. He is trying to reach anyone in his family. But, he can not get through the barrier of the silver cuff on his hands. His capturer has injected him with wolfsbane to keep him weak. But, the one that captured him is not talking to him. He does not even know if it is a she-wolf, witch or vampire. All he knows it is a female. He closes his eyes as he tries to send anything to his family. The silver cuffs are burning his arms. Finally, the woman comes in, and he can feel her presence, but he can not see her in the dark.
"You may try to connect with your family, but you will not be able to," She says as she speaks to him for the first time. She smells like roses and rosemary.
