Talon calls Lucian. He needs to see him and find out if Lucian knows anything about Luther coming to Boston. Talon plans to compel Lucian to tell him the truth. What Talon does not know is that no one can compel a lycan. Their wolves are strong, and even in human form, the Lycan will not allow his human to be compelled. Lucian answers his phone, and he knows all of Talon's tricks. Talon has tried to compel him before, and Lucian played along. He pretended that Talon compelled him, answered all Talon's questions, and pretended not to be interested in a war again. That is what Talon wanted to hear. Lucian laughs by himself as he knows that Talon will try it again.
"Hello, Talon. How may I help you?" Lucian asks.
"Hi, Lucian, I wondered if I could come and visit you today?" Talon says.
