Episode 1: The Stranger Beneath the Blood Moon
The night the blood moon appeared, Princess Lyra discovered that her destiny was connected to a man she had been raised to hate.
Deep within the mist-covered valleys of Aethelgard, an ancient prophecy was awakening. For centuries, two powerful bloodlines had been bound by an eternal enchantment, a celestial pact created to protect the world from an ancient evil.
But the truth had been buried beneath generations of hatred.
And now, the enchantment was breaking.
The Princess's Secret
Princess Lyra stood before her bedroom mirror, watching a strange symbol glow beneath her collarbone. It resembled a crescent moon intertwined with a golden flame.
She had discovered it three nights earlier, but tonight, it burned brighter than ever.
At twenty-one, Lyra was the beloved daughter of King Aldric of Eldoria. With flowing golden-brown hair and emerald-green eyes, she was admired for her beauty and kindness. Yet despite her privileged life, she often felt that something was missing.
For years, she had dreamed of a mysterious man standing beneath a dark forest canopy. His silver eyes seemed to recognize her, but whenever she reached for him, an invisible force separated them.
Tonight, the dream returned while she was awake.
A deep voice whispered inside her mind.
"Find me before the eclipse."
Lyra gasped.
Suddenly, every candle in her chamber extinguished. The windows flew open, and a cold wind swept through the room.
Her mirror cracked.
For one brief moment, she saw a man standing behind her reflection.
He had dark hair, a scar across his cheek, and silver eyes that seemed to hold centuries of sorrow.
Then he vanished.
"Princess!"
Her attendant, Mira, rushed into the room.
"Are you all right?"
Lyra stared at the broken mirror.
"Who is the man from the Obsidian Marches?"
Mira's expression changed.
"Why would you ask about those people?"
"Just answer me."
Mira lowered her voice.
"They are shadow warriors, Your Highness. Our kingdom has been at war with them for generations. The king forbids anyone from crossing their borders."
Lyra looked toward the window.
Beyond the distant mountains lay the Obsidian Marches, a kingdom surrounded by ancient forests and forbidden magic.
For reasons she could not explain, she felt drawn toward it.
And somewhere beyond those mountains, the mysterious stranger was calling her name.
The Warrior of Shadows
In the Obsidian Marches, Kaelen Veyr stood before an ancient stone altar.
At twenty-four, he was the youngest commander of the Shadow Guard, feared for his swordsmanship and his ability to control darkness.
His silver eyes were considered a sign of an ancient bloodline, though he had never understood their true meaning.
As the blood moon rose, the altar began to tremble.
Silver flames erupted between the stones, forming the image of a beautiful young woman.
Golden-brown hair.
Emerald eyes.
A face he had seen in his dreams since childhood.
"Who are you?" Kaelen demanded.
The woman opened her eyes.
"Kaelen..."
Her voice echoed through the chamber.
"Find me."
The flames exploded, throwing him against a pillar.
When he struggled to his feet, he discovered a glowing symbol on his wrist: a crescent moon intertwined with a golden flame.
An elderly man emerged from the shadows.
Master Orwyn, the royal historian, stared at the mark in horror.
"The Soulbound," he whispered.
Kaelen turned toward him.
"What does that mean?"
Orwyn approached the altar.
"Long ago, the Goddesses of Light and Shadows bound two bloodlines together to protect Aethelgard from an ancient darkness. Their descendants would share a magical bond that could either save the world or destroy it."
Kaelen glanced at his wrist.
"And I am part of this prophecy?"
"You are the last heir of the Obsidian bloodline."
Orwyn paused.
"And the woman you saw is Princess Lyra of Eldoria."
Kaelen's expression hardened.
"An Eldorian princess? Impossible."
"The enchantment has awakened. Your souls are connected."
Kaelen turned away.
"I will not become a servant to some ancient spell."
Orwyn's voice grew urgent.
"You misunderstand. If the bond is destroyed, the darkness imprisoned beneath the continent will escape."
Kaelen drew his sword and returned it to its sheath.
"Then pray I never meet her."
But as he spoke, the symbol on his wrist burned.
A strange voice whispered inside his mind.
You will find her.
And once you do, neither of you will ever be free.
An Unexpected Encounter
The following evening, Lyra secretly left the palace.
Wrapped in a dark cloak, she followed a narrow path into the royal forest. She could not explain why she was there, but the glowing symbol beneath her collarbone seemed to guide her north.
The deeper she travelled, the thicker the mist became.
Suddenly, a voice interrupted the silence.
"You shouldn't be here."
Lyra spun around.
A man stood between the ancient trees, dressed in black leather armor. A sword rested against his back, and his silver eyes watched her cautiously.
She recognized him immediately.
The stranger from her dreams.
"Who are you?" she asked.
"Someone you should stay away from."
"That isn't an answer."
"It's the only one you're getting."
Lyra stepped closer.
"I've seen you before. In my dreams."
Kaelen froze.
Before he could respond, both their symbols began to glow.
Golden light burst from Lyra's chest, while silver energy surrounded Kaelen's hand.
The forces collided, illuminating the forest.
Suddenly, visions flooded their minds.
Two goddesses standing beneath a sky of stars.
An ancient temple collapsing.
A kingdom consumed by darkness.
And two figures standing together, their joined hands creating a barrier of light and shadow.
Then came a terrifying final vision.
Lyra stood before a shattered throne, blood covering her hands.
Kaelen lay motionless at her feet.
A voice echoed through the darkness.
"One heart shall save the world. One death shall destroy it."
The vision disappeared.
Lyra stumbled backward, breathing heavily.
"What was that?"
Kaelen stared at the symbol on his wrist.
"I don't know."
But he knew one thing: the enchantment had connected them in a way neither could control.
Before either could speak again, a terrible roar shook the forest.
A monstrous creature emerged from the mist. Its body was covered in black scales, its eyes burned crimson, and dark smoke poured from its jaws.
Lyra screamed.
Kaelen immediately drew his sword.
"Stay behind me!"
The creature lunged.
Kaelen struck its body, but his blade barely wounded it. The beast swung its enormous tail, throwing him against a tree.
"Kaelen!"
Lyra rushed toward him.
"Stay back!" he shouted.
The creature turned toward her.
Its crimson eyes narrowed.
"The golden heir," it growled. "The key has awakened."
It lunged.
Terrified, Lyra raised her hands.
Golden fire erupted from her palms, striking the creature and sending it crashing into the trees.
She stared at her hands in disbelief.
She had never used magic before.
Kaelen struggled to his feet.
"Whatever you do, don't let it touch you!"
But the creature was already rising.
Its wounds healed before their eyes.
Kaelen looked at Lyra.
"We cannot defeat it separately."
He extended his hand.
"Trust me."
Lyra hesitated.
He was a stranger, an enemy of her kingdom, and a man she had been taught to fear.
Yet something inside her recognized him.
She took his hand.
Instantly, golden light and silver shadows spiralled around them, rising into the heavens.
The creature shrieked and disappeared into the mist.
The forest fell silent.
Lyra and Kaelen stood together, their hands still clasped.
Neither understood what had happened.
But they both felt the same invisible force connecting their hearts.
The Enemy Behind the Light
Far beneath the ruins of the ancient Celestial Temple, a pair of crimson eyes opened.
"The Soulbound has awakened," a mysterious voice whispered.
Darkness spread across the stone walls.
"Let them discover each other. Let them believe their love will save the world."
A sinister laugh echoed through the chamber.
"When their hearts become one, I will destroy them both."
Meanwhile, in the royal palace of Eldoria, Lord Varrick stood before a window overlooking the distant mountains.
For years, he had served King Aldric faithfully, concealing a dangerous secret.
He knew the truth about the Soulbound.
He knew about the ancient darkness.
And he knew that Princess Lyra had just met the man destined to change her life.
"The prophecy has begun," he murmured.
"Now, let us see which of them survives."
A Dangerous Promise
Back in the forest, Lyra turned toward Kaelen.
"Who are you really?"
He hesitated before answering.
"Kaelen Veyr. Commander of the Shadow Guard."
Lyra's eyes widened.
"You're from the Obsidian Marches?"
"Yes."
She instinctively stepped away.
"My father would have you executed if he found you here."
"And your people would kill you if they discovered what connects us."
Lyra looked at the glowing symbol beneath her collarbone.
"What happens to us now?"
Kaelen gazed into her emerald eyes.
"I don't know. But whatever this enchantment is, it has made us part of something much bigger than ourselves."
A sudden pain shot through Lyra's chest.
A mysterious voice whispered inside her mind.
"Trust no crown, fear no shadow, and beware the one who walks beside the light."
Then the voice disappeared.
Above them, the blood moon began to c***k.
Kaelen tightened his grip on her hand.
"We must leave. Something is coming."
Lyra looked at him, her heart filled with questions and an unfamiliar feeling she could not name.
She had spent her entire life believing that the people of the Obsidian Marches were monsters.
Yet the man standing before her had just risked his life to protect her.
And for the first time, she wondered whether everything she had ever been taught was a lie.
As they disappeared into the mist, neither noticed the shadow following them between the trees.
The ancient enchantment had awakened.
Their destinies were bound.
And the greatest danger was no longer the kingdoms that stood against them.
It was the mysterious darkness waiting to tear them apart.
