When Damien and Sarah exited the building, Samuel was out front with a cigarette in hand, leaning up against a black Rolls-Royce with a grim face. Samuel saw the dazed Sarah and sneered.
Samuel was beginning to understand Sarah even more. The more time he actually spent with her, meaning him being physically there, he realized something was off about her.
Sometimes her words were vague, and other times it was just the normal Sarah from the past few years. After hearing about Sarah’s little episode in Stephine’s office, Samuel could only sneer.
Sarah basically asked him to dig up in her mother. And after some digging, he turned up with nothing. After all, nine years ago she was Sarah Russo.
It was harder to dig up things that were intentionally hidden.
But Sarah said to dig, so he was
