There were exactly three versions of Adrian Voss. The terrifying CEO version. The soft version only I got to see. And the dangerously distracting version that appeared whenever he loosened his tie slightly and looked at me too long during meetings. Unfortunately for my emotional stability— today he was rotating between all three. The morning had started normally enough. Coffee. Emails.
