Mrs Smith saw another call from Sarah. Paul was already dressed for work. When he saw the call, he told his mom to pick it and put it on speaker. "Hello. The 3-days ultimatum for payment started yesterday. 2 more days to go. If you don't believe, hear her voice" said the kidnapper as he shifted the phone to where Sarah was. "Hello! Mom, please. Give them whatever they want, please" exclaimed Sarah. "2 Days or you will meet her dead body at your doorstep" said the kidnapper harshly as he ended the call. "Mom. I'll fix it when I get to the office" said Paul as he went to work. "Paulo. You're late. Anyways, please give this to your sister" said Michael as he gave another gift box to Paul. "Guy, keep that to yourself. She has been kidn*pped" said Paul sadly as he walked into the station. "What! kidn*pped? Save her. You're in the position, aren't you" said Michael restlessly as he dragged him back outside. "We have a 2-days ultimatum starting from today. Tomorrow is the D-day. If we don't take 5 millon naira to them tomorrow by 10:00am, my sister will be dead" he said already now crying. "Shh! Don't say that. Let's inform the boss about it. We can go together. Samson will follow us" said Michael hushing Paul as he dragged him in the station to inform their boss. Few minutes later, they came out again. "The boss has given us permission to take Samson on the operation. It's sorted. Come to the office by 8:00am tomorrow. Okay" said Michael. "Ok. I will make... Hold on. My phone is ringing" paused Paul as he brought out his phone. "They're calling" said Paul as he removed his phone from his pocket, picked the call and put it on speaker. "Hello" said Paul. "Hello. I guess you are the brother of this girl. You must be the one to bring the money tomorrow. Remember" said the kidnapper ending the call immediately after his speech. "Does your sister always leave her location on" asked Micheal. "Yes. We can track it down" said Paul as he went in to track it. "Paul, No. 5, Ariye Street, Off Kilanta Road, Lagos, Nigeria" said Michael reading out aloud. "So close to her house. Her house is No. 4. "She has her house" asked Micheal in surprise. "She is 27. What do you expect" said Paul. "I'm going home now. See you tomorrow" said Paul as he went out of the station. When he got home, he told his mom about his plans at the office. Mrs Smith, for once, was relieved.
