Chapter Four

Very early on Saturday morning, Mrs Smith had woken up to prepare breakfast. Sarah woke up few minutes later and helped her mom with breakfast.

Thirty minutes later, Paul woke up and his father also woke up almost immediately. They had breakfast. Sarah went to have her bath and threw a top, jeans jacket and blue jeans which made her look beautiful. She used a lip gloss on her lip and took her black handbag putting her phone and some money.

She went to Marinette's house and already met some people. When everyone was there, Craig moved the attention of people to himself by saying that he wanted to ask Sarah a question. Everyone already knew what the question was but they turned their attention towards Craig to see how he would react because everyone in the class knew him as a proud person.

He started, "Sarah, do you know that you're very beautiful". "Well, I'll take that as a compliment" said Sarah plastering a fake smile on her face and pretending to be happy but inside of her, she was boiling with anger. "I want to ask you a question. Will you be my girlfriend" asked Craig happily thinking Sarah would say yes because of her smile which seemed real. "Say yes" shouted other people repeatedly.

"My answer is NO" said Sarah emphasizing on the word 'NO' as she walked out of the gathering. Craig was heartbroken. He didn't believe. He thought he was the coolest guy and every girl liked him.

All the other girls excluding Sarah who had already gone home had a gathering after the party.

"Why is that Sarah girl so proud. Does she think she is beautiful? Well, if she cares to know, she looks like an ugly witch to me" said Charlotte livid with anger. "She just thinks she's on top of the world. She behaves like the queen of the universe" said Chloe. "Is she the ruler of the universe? Is she untouchable? I believe we're rough girls right. I have a plan that will make her unattractive to any boy" said Mira. "What's your plan" asked other girls anxiously. "Let's beat her up. Give her bruises and marks most especially on her face. We can do it by closing tomorrow. We'll convince her to pass the bush pathway. She doesn't know the place. We will lie to her that it is a shortcut to her house" said Mira.

After hearing Mira's plan, all the other girls agreed to it immediately and commended her for her great idea and imagination.
