7 Why was it nobody could give me a straight answer today? It was enough to make me want to be a hermit (déjà vu?), lock myself away and never see or speak to anyone. Except pizza delivery. Maybe I could fax my orders in and tape the money to the door. On that note, I called an order in for delivery to my office. After the unsatisfying breakfast with Renee, I looked forward to a box with ready-made lunch, dinner, and possibly even tomorrow’s breakfast. I spent some time dotting i's and crossing t’s, paying the delivery guy and then making sure I hadn’t forgotten to pay anyone else―the electric company or some variation that would bite me in the ass while I was out of town.
