In this world, gods do not live in the heavens, they live on the same world as humans. However, the two kinds are completely segregated. There are laws binding the two species from crossing over their own side. One child, though, is different. One child named Amias. This is Amias's story-- the first demigod.

No god is related-- not yet, at least. Each god was born from something non-human. Aphrodite, for example, grew from a shell, rising from the sea in all of her glory. Eros, as another example, was from a rose; he parted the petals himself and breathed in the air. The humans did not take kindly to the gods, though. They did not appreciate the power the gods held and a war soon broke out once all of the gods had been born. The war raged on despite the gods hesitance to fight. To solve the problem, the world was divided in two. One side, the human side, kept the name Earth and the other, the god side, was named Olympus. Once the gods began to settle, they started to breed. Soon, more gods were being born and some were even related, unlike the originals. Eros, the god of s****l desire, fell in love with a goddess named Enyo. Enyo was quite the opposite of Eros, though she was as beautiful as the other god, she was the goddess of war. The other gods expected Enyo to become one with Aries, but, no, she chose Eros. And Eros chose her. The couple had numerous children, all gorgeous and powerful. However, Eros had another child-- one he had with another woman. Not Enyo. That child was Amias. The first demigod.
