George opens his eyes but doesn't wake to the usual morning crow, instead he hears 'amens' and 'hallelujahs', he looks up and finds a man on suit standing on the altar holding a microphone and screaming at the top of his voice like the congregation won't hear Jim even with the microphone. It was then it occurred to him that he came to church that morning and had slept off due to the boredom he was experiencing. George was a man of no belief in religion, but he kept asking himself "what dragged me here, what made me come to hell?".
