Twin Wolves

Chapter 2: New Beginnings Part 1

It's been a week sense Jasper and I have moved into our house. When I woke up this morning he was still sleeping. So, I decided to shift and run to my parents’ house. It's also the first time I have left the house without him. I get outside of the house and quietly shift into my wolf.

I take off through the woods and head straight to my parents’ house. It takes me about 15 minutes in my wolf form to get there. I get to my parents’ house and smell breakfast being cooked. I go up to the back door and whine. My parents look over to the door and laugh. Before coming to give me clothes. I quickly shift and walk inside.

"Good morning mom and dad. Breakfast smells wonderful. How was your guy’s night? Anything eventful happen while I was away?" I say while winking at them.

• "Good morning princess. Yes, it does smell delicious. Our night was lovely. No! Even if it did, we wouldn’t tell you!" My dad yells the last part.

"Good morning sweetheart. Our night was good." My mom says winking back at me.

Just then there was a knock on the front door and my mom went to answer it as my dad pulled down 2 more plates. I hear 3 sets of feet coming toward the kitchen. I turn to see my brother and his mate walking into the kitchen with mom. I hear twigs snapping outside. I turn my head but don't see nothing. So, I turned my attention back to my family. Next thing I know Jasper is wrapping his arms around me and kissing me on the lips.

"That's enough you two. People here actually want to hold down their food." My dad said jokingly towards us.

"Yes sir. Good morning love. How long have you been up? Why didn't you wake me?" Jasper says.

"Good morning, dear. Not long, maybe an hour or 2. I didn't wake you because you seemed so peaceful, and you needed sleep." I say winking at him.

"Oh OK. Well next time please wake me." He says as his face is turning a bright red.

"OK. I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to let my wolf out for a run. She'd love to have some time with you and your wolf. But only if you want to go. If not, I can just go on my own. Just thought maybe we could spend some time together just you and me." I said to Jasper. I'd like time with him that didn't involve our bedroom.

"I'd love to go with you. I'm glad that you asked me. What time do you want to head out?" He said with a big smile that touched his eyes.

"Ok. That's great we can go right after breakfast." I say with a smile.

"Can Lyndy and I tag along?" Zayran asks.

"Not today ZarZar. Next time. I just want it to be Jasper and I." I say looking away from Jasper.

"OK sis. You know I don't like that nickname missy." He says mean glaring me.

"Yep, I know. But I'm not stopping now. I have called you ZarZar all my life. So, get used to it mister." Mean glaring him back.

"Just a quick question not that I want to interrupt you two. Why and when did you start calling him ZarZar? That's so cute. Can I call him that too?" Lyndy asks with a shy look on her face.

"I have called him ZarZar sense we could talk. I'd like it if you didn't. It's my special nickname for him. He doesn't like me using it anymore, but I still do. He'll always be ZarZar to me." I say as I look at Zayran he has a thankful look on his face. He's glad I told her no. He has hated that nickname for a while now. He only allows me to use it. He'd get angry if anyone else would use it.

"Ok. I'm sorry I asked. I didn't mean to overstep." Lyndy looked disappointed but I think she understands. I just hope we can still be friends.

"I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. It is just that I know Zayran hates his nickname. I would not want him to be mad at both of us because we both call him ZarZar. I hope we can still be friends. I really didn't mean to upset you." I stand up and cross the room to the kitchen sink and walk back over in front of Jasper facing my brother and Lyndy. My brother is sitting in the chair and Lyndy is on his lap.

"No, you didn't hurt my feelings. I am a little disappointed though. But I can figure out my own nickname for him." Lyndy says with a smile on her face not one that touches her eyes.

"Maybe you and I can get together and think of a good nickname for him. There are some really fun and cute ones I've thought of using but never did." I say laughing. I think Lyndy and I will make great friends and even better sister-in-law.

"Alright that's enough you two. It's time for us to be going before you two start making horrible names and plans for all of us. Really wish you'd leave me out of it though." Zayran says as he starts to pull Lyndy along with him.

"Hey man I'm just glad it's you and not me!" Jasper says, trying to hold in his laughter but failing horribly.

"Don't you think for a second that you aren't going to get a nickname mister. I have a bunch of them just rolling around up in my head just for you. If you think ZarZar is bad you just wait and see what I got for you!" I say as I get up and start to walk towards the stairs to get my nice clothes for today.

I quickly go up the stairs and down the hall to my room. I shut the door and go to my walk-in closet. I picked out a red dress that is skintight so you can see all my curves and muscles. It has a silk lining on the top and bottom and see through lace on the back of the dress it really is pretty. It's not normal I dress up, but I figured sense I'll also be doing pack duties later I better have it with me to look the part. I grabbed out my bag and put the dress and a pair of flats that matched it into the bag. I existed my room to start down the hall.

"Hey sissy can you do me a big favor please. I forgot that we were supposed to do packing duties later today, so I didn't pack a bag with something nice. Could you please go pick something nice out for me and put it into your bag?" Zayran mind links me.

"Yes, ZarZar I will. How did you know I was packing a bag?" I ask him as I turn around and go to Zayran's room that is right next to mine. I enter his room and go straight to his closet. I go through his nice clothes and find a good outfit for him and quickly put it on my back along with a pair of socks and shoes.

"I know you. There are pack duties that you and I must tend to later today. Sense your plan on being in wolf firm before then you'll pack a bag with something nice. I forgot about our duties until dad mind linked asking me if I had my nice clothes with me. So, I asked you to grab them for me. We can meet up at the pack house later so then I can change." He said with a knowing tone. He is right, I never leave the house unprepared.

"Ok I have what you'll need for later. Does Lyndy need me to go next door and grab something for her?" I don't remember if she had a bag with her or not otherwise, I wouldn't ask. I should go pick something out for Jasper while I'm at it that way he can match me.

"Yes please. I didn't know that our mates were attending tonight's duties. Her mom will be waiting at the door to give you her nice clothes. Don't forget to get something nice for Jasper." He says this with more of a sexy tone then he does anything else. It's kind of annoying. He acts as if I wouldn't grab Lyndy something sexy but presentable.

"Ok I'll see you later. Don't worry, she'll look nice. Just like we are supposed to. I will never forget Jasper. He is my mate after all. Your mate is supposed to attend everything in the pack with you. It's the pack duties outside of the pack that our mates don't go to." When I finish what I was saying to Zayran I put the block up so then he'll go spend time with Lyndy and not tell me what to do.

I exit his room and head down the stairs and out the front door. I go straight to Lyndy's house where her mom is already waiting. She already has clothing for me. I quickly looked at what she had, and I chose a beautiful blue dress that is like mine and the same pair of flats I chose for myself, just blue. I thank her as I turn around and run straight into Jasper's chest. I stumble backwards but he quickly catches me so then I don't fall.

"What on earth are you doing? One second you’re upstairs and then the next you are gone." He says curiously.

"Oh, I was just getting clothes for Lyndy, my brother, and you. I am heading to your parents’ house now. We have pack duties tonight and sense Zayran and I have mates they must attend them as well." I say a little out of breath sense I didn't realize I got the wind knocked right out of me when I ran into him.

Jasper doesn't say anything he just smiles and takes my hand. He leads me inside his parents’ house and up the stairs to his room. He opens his closet and gestures for me to go ahead. I pull him right next to me so then I can compare what looks best on him and with the dress I choose for myself. I go with a nice pair of black slacks and a red button-up shirt. I grabbed a pair of nice dress shoes and a pair of socks. I quickly put the items into the bag nicely so then they don't wrinkle. I grab Jasper's hand and lead him back down the stairs and outside.

We start walking with our hands interlaced. Towards the lake that is right behind our parents’ houses. The lake has a meadow just on the other side you just must go through a patch of trees and you’re there but for us to get there on time we need to shift into our wolf's. I carefully sit my bag down and start to undress. So, then I don't ruin any more clothes. I have ruined enough clothes over the last 2 weeks. Jasper does the same. Once we are completely naked, we both shift and let our wolf's say hi for a moment before we continue. I pick the bag up in my mouth and look at Jasper letting him know that I'm ready.

We take off towards the meadow as fast as we can go. Jasper is just as fast as I am, so I don't have to worry about him not keeping up. Finally, I have a challenge. We break through the trees and into the meadow in no time. It's so pretty this time of year. Covered in lilies, daisies, daffodils, and sunflowers. I sit down on my bag and turn around to face Jasper who is right behind me with a big wolfy smile on his face. He walks over and starts rubbing himself down my side and up the other side. When Jasper is done, he lays down and starts rolling in the flowers.
