The Pup

{6 MONTHS LATER} Ever since we found out that we were expecting a pup, Jasper has had guards surrounding me at all times so no one can hurt me or his pup. I wish I could be left alone, but there is no luck in that he isn't taking any chances of anything happening to me or the pup. I am due any day now. We just found out that we are expecting a boy. Jasper is over the that the baby is going to be a boy.

We still haven't chosen a name yet for him, but I know I'll know his name the second I see his little face. I have been in and out of the doctor more times than I can count just to be sure that nothing has happened to the baby. The doctor says the baby looks great and is right on schedule. We have already gotten his nursery all set up and ready for when he arrives. I still do my Luna duties but, of course, with the extra help from Lyndie. She is protective over me and the baby too. She is also pregnant just a few weeks behind me. So our pups will be the same age and get to grow up together, which is always a great thing because they will get to be as close as the four of us are, as we all lead the pack together.

We have talked about separating the pack into two to make it a double pack instead of a single one. But it seemed more problematic than having just one pack. We might revisit the subject after the babies are born and a little older. That way, both our babies get their birth right. Of being a heir of an Alpha and Luna. They are both meant to lead their own pack and, since we are both having baby boys, they will both be an Alpha. So they will want their own pack one day.

The best part of being pregnant right now is that Jasper can't tell me no even if he wants to, as he never knows how I'll react, so I basically get what I want to a point, that is. If it seems dangerous or harmful to the baby, it's a no, but I don't really like living in a thrill anyway. So I don't really have to worry about harming the baby. The only danger right now is the occasional rouge, and even they retreat the second that they see an angry alpha is heading their way, as they know they will die.

As I walked to the pack-house to finish the preparations for the welcome home party for our Alphas, my water broke, but I kept going as labor could take hours. So I knew I had time to finish what I was doing. When I got to the hospital, one of my guards ran to the counter and told the head nurse what was going on, and another guard called Jasper to let him know that I was in labor and at the hospital being checked in. By the time he hung up the phone, I was being put into a wheelchair and taken to my hospital room.

I was sleeping when Jasper arrived. I could hear him whispering but couldn't hear anyone else talking. He must be on the phone. He was arguing with someone that he had to reschedule his visit to their pack as he had a family emergency that he had to tend to. But it seemed like they didn't care. I could feel him getting angry. So, I reached up and grabbed his hand and took the phone from him.

"Hello" I said, very annoyed.

"Who is this? Where is alpha Jasper?" He said angrily. I knew this voice. It was Emma's mate.

"This is Luna Kerah Alpha Jaspers, mate. He will have to reschedule his visit for a later date. He is currently in the hospital awaiting the birth of his child. We will not be accepting no as an answer. He won't be missing the birth of his child. Have a great day. We will reach out when we are ready to reschedule the visit. Thank you." After i finished what I had to say, I hung up the phone and then turned it off and handed it back to Jasper. "Leave it off. No one else is going to be ruining this moment for us." I said, placing the phone back in his hand and blowing him a kiss.

"That was hot babe. How are you feeling? Do you need anything?" He says, leaning forward and placing a kiss on my forehead.

"Thanks. I fine. No, I don't need anything. Well, there is one thing I need." I said, winking at him.

"Babe, we can't do that here nor now. You'll have to control yourself and let your body heal after having our child. But don't worry, you'll get plenty of that after you're all healed. I hated being away from you for 3 weeks. But it had to be done. I would have been so angry if I had missed this." He says, winking back at me.

We both laugh when there is a knock on our door and the nurse from earlier walks in with a rosy red face looking at the ground as if our conversation had embarrassed her in some way. I wonder how much she had heard. She checks me and runs out of the room only to return moments later with a whole group of people. Soon enough, we are alone again, only this time with our son in my arms.

"He's handsome. I know the perfect name for him too." I said, looking at Jasper.

"Yeah, I knew you would have the perfect name for him after seeing him. What is his name babe?" Jasper said, looking down at our little boy waiting for my answer.

"His name is Addikus Michel Moonstone. It's Aiden's middle name. It's perfect, and he would be honored to have him named after him. Do you like it?" I asked nervously.

"Babe, I love it. It's absolutely perfect and suits him so much. I can't wait to tell the pack about Addikus." He said, smiling so big I think his face might explode.

"I can't wait for the pack to meet him either. They are all going to love him so much. He's going to be very protected and loved that he won't know what to do with it." I said.

I fell asleep not long after telling Jasper the baby's name. I slept great for the first time in a long time. I was happy, full of love and finally not so stressed and overwhelmed.
