Chapter 12 A Fresh Start

*3 Months after Kerah was taken*

I was sitting in the living room at the pack house with my gamma Kane. I was watching Law and Order SVU on the T.V.. When Kane snaps me out of my dazed

"Kerah do you know when they will get done in their meeting today?" He asked. He looked as if he was concerned about something or like he might be late for something important.

"No Kane I don't. Why do you ask? Are you going to be late for something or someone?" I say wiggling my eyebrows at him.

"Haha. No but Jasper and you have your last dr appointment today at 3pm you know sense ummm..... Yeah." He says trying not to upset me. But I knew exactly what he was talking about. He was talking about when I miscarried and got abducted. We decided to just combine the 2 appointment and make it one instead of 2 separate ones.

"Oh umm Right. I can always go knock on the conference room door but all of the alphas would probably yell at me but well Jasper and Zayran." I say basically sliding out of my chair and walking towards the conference room. I look back and see Kane right behind me. Oh thank god i didn't really want to go in their alone there are like 14 other alphas in that room.

I go up to the door and get ready to knock when i hear a loud growl and a very angry "GO AWAY GIRL." How dare who ever talk to me like that. Granted they can't see through the door and tell its me. So I guess I understand but still he could be nicer. I knock anyways as this is my pack and I have just as much right in this room as anyone else does. "I SAID GO AWAY YOU STUPID GIRL. WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING." He yells even louder then the last time.

I consider just walking away but Kane's face says that i should just open the door and walk on in. I slowly reach for the door handle waiting to see if Kane is going to stop me. Kane nods for me to go ahead. I turn the handle and walk in. i see the person behind the angry voice and he is up against the wall being pinned by Jasper. I walk over to Jasper and put my hand on his back and start rubbing circles to help claim him down. He relaxes and lets the alpha go. He turns around and wraps me in his arms and walks me towards his chair to sit down with me on his lap. I look up and see Lyndy in here too as well as all of the other Luna's including the angry alphas luna who is just glaring at Jasper.

"Do you got a problem Ma'ma" I ask raising my eyebrows at her. She turns beet red and looks down.

"No Ma'ma i just thought I knew you is all." She says shyly hiding her face in her mates neck.

"Oh well what your name? My name is Kerah and well you already know my mate Jasper and twin Brother Zayran." I say smiling at her as Jasper rubs my back.

She smiles back and says "My name is Emma, Emma Bennett." Her name did seem very familiar. Now that I think about it I do know her. We use to be best friends till she found her mate and had to move away.

"Oh my goddess Emma I can't believe its you its been what 6 years sense I last saw you. You look wonderful." I say giving her the biggest smile I can manage.

"Yes it has been a long time. Do you guys have any pups yet? We have 3, 2 boys and 1 girl." She asks smiling back her mate leans into her and his face goes distant for a few seconds and so does hers. When they stop mind linking she just snaps her head in my direction and gives me a small sad smile. "I am so sorry I didn't mean to ask that question please forgive me."

"It's ok. No we don't have any pups just yet but we do want some when the time is right. I was pregnant but I missed carried due to being attacked and having to shift to protect myself and our pups that I was carrying." I say giving her a small reassuring smile to let her know that its ok it didn't upset me that bad. It used to upset me really bad but now not so much it still pains me sometimes but not as bad. "Oh Jasper we do have a doctors appointment in about an hour. Its our last one then I can bee doctor free for a bit." I say leaning onto his chest and inhaling his sent to clam my nerves so I don't break down thinking about my miss carriage.

"Ahh that's what you were coming in here for. Yes love I do remember about the appointment. We were just about done in here just one more thing to address I do believe." He says kissing the top of my head.

"Ok. I will let you get back to your meeting. I just didn't want you to forget. So I love you and i will see you in about an hour and a half." Say trying to get up but Jasper just tightens his hold on me. "You gotta let me go for me to let you get back to your meeting." I say laughing and smiling up at him.

He leans down and whispers in my ear "Your not going anywhere. Your the whole reason why I didn't kill Alpha Luke over there." He says glaring at Alpha Luke.

"Jasper he didn't know I was your mate. Its not like you guys can see through walls or doors. He also cant smell my scent. Thanks to the kidnappers my wolf refuses to reappear. Im hoping that Dr. Wilson can figure out why she won't co,e back or of a way to bring her back." I sigh as just lay on Jaspers chest. I close my eyes and rest i have been extra tired lately.

"Baby wake up its time for your appointment." He says whispering into my ear as if not to startle me awake.

I open my eyes and stretch not trying to move to much on Jaspers lap. As much as I love it when he ready to go I don't need him ready for the doctors appointment. "Ok I'm up. Lets go see the doctor." I say reluctantly.

We arrive at the doctors office in about 5 minutes. We walk in and Jasper has me sit down as he checks me in for my appointment. I sit down and wait for my turn to see my doctor. "Kerah, The doctor is ready to see you now. Sorry for the wait we have been extremely busy today." The nurse says showing us the way to the room. It wasn't even a long wait in the waiting room i have no clue why she is even apologizing. "Ok please step onto the scale just want ot make sure your not losing any weight." The nurse says gesturing to the scale. I hate the stupid scale but i get onto it anyway just to get out of here quicker. "Ok your weight is good. You can get off of the scale now and go sit on the patient table please." She says with a smile while gesturing to the table. I wish I could knock that stupid smile off of her face. But I resist and just go sit down on the table like I was asked. "The Doctor will be in in a few moments." She says as she walks out of the room.

We sit in the room waiting for the doctor to come in for what feels like forever. When the doctor finally comes into the room I am practically asleep on the table. "Well I see she is nice and comfy." says the doctor laughing as she comes into the room. "How has she been?" She asks.

"She's been extra tired lately. She is also worried her wolf will never come fully back. I think she just might be dormant as she did lose the pups and there was a war and then she got taken so she never did really get to heal and process all of that. What do you think Dr. Wilson?" He says in almost a rush.

"I think her wolf could still be being affected by the wolfsbane. It is a slight possibility that there could be some left the remedy that was used was the only one known to our kind. But sense then we have done some tests on wolfsbane and we have finally made a cure for it it will take away all of the effects almost immediately." He says trying to get the answer out as fast as possible. "As for her being extra tired ummm have you guys been active recently and not used protection or had any protection break?" He says kinda embarrassed to be asking the Alpha about his s*x life.

"Well yes we have been active and we do use protection but I don't think any of it broke. Why do you think she could be pregnant again?" He asked very excited but also very concerned because of the last pregnancy didn't go as it should of.

"Humm. Well i think that maybe we should do a test to see and if that comes back negative then we will have to run more tests to see what's making her so tired. Also I will get her that cure for her to take. Would you mind waking her up? So then i can have her go to the bathroom to do that test I will also run a couple of other tests as well to make sure nothing is shutting down." He states worriedly.

"Yes I'll wake her up and have go to the bathroom for the tests that need to be done." He says. He starts gently shaking me to wake me up. I slowly start to stir. "Wake up love the doctor needs you to go the bathroom for him so then he can run a few tests to make sure everything is functioning properly." He says leaning down to kiss me on my check.

"Ok I'm up. I'll go to the bathroom now." I say getting up and stretching before getting down and going to the bathroom right across the hall. I use the bathroom wash my hands and put the cup in the little cupboard for the doctor. I go back across the and shut the room door. I go straight to Jasper and sit down on his lap all I want to do is go back to sleep.

"Baby you can't go back to sleep yet. You have to be awake for the test results and the cure for the wolfsbane to hopefully bring back your wolf." He says rubbing my back.

"No I want to sleep. Please just for a few more minutes." I say giving him my pouty face.

Just then the doctor came back into the room. She was holding a cup with liquid in it and a paper with something printed on to it. "Good after noon Kerah. How are you feeling after your nap." She says with a slight chuckle.

"I feel ok I'm still tired though when can i go home and go back to sleep?" I ask not trying to be rude or anything. I get the whole point of me needing these appointments but I'm so tired all I want to do is nap and im going to get my nap or well more of a nap.

"Well I'm glad that you are awake as i have your tests results for the one test the others I won't get back until tomorrow. But with that said here you go you can go ahead and look this over as I give you this cure really quick. I also brought you some water. I figured you might be thirsty." She says handing the paper she carried in with her to Jasper and the cup of water to me.

"Doctor are you sure these results are right? If they are can she even have that cure?" Jasper asks in a worried voice. He lowers the paper for me to read. I read it at least 5 times before looking from the doctor to Jasper to see if either of them are going to say if this is correct or not.

"Well can you please tell us if this is right? If i am pregnant i haven't been eating all the best choices nor drinking nearly enough water. What if i miss carry again because im not eating or drinking properly?" I say in a desperate almost pleading voice. I was also trying not to cry or panic.

"Yes Kerah you are pregnant. Don't worry you don't seem like your starving and your not dehydrated. This pup will be just fine as long as you take care of yourself and always stay with your gamma and guards." She says as she injects the cure into my arm. "Don't worry the cure is safe even for those who are pregnant. Now you make take her home to take more of her nap." She says as she put a bandaid on the spot where she gave me the injection. She gives us both a big smile and then leaves the room.

Jasper stands with me in his arms and starts to leave the pack hospital. He carries me all the way home and to our living room. "Are you ok? I mean about being pregnant so soon after your first miss carriage. I know its a lot to take in and if your not ready its ok." He says as he brushes his lips against my mark making me shiver as he does.

"Yes I'm ok. I just didn't expect us to get pregnant so soon. It takes other she wolfs years to get pregnant after a miss carriage." I say as i lay my head down onto Jaspers Chest allowing myself to drift off into a nice peaceful sleep.
